Takeru Saotome on Left, Himawari Park on Right

TS:Welcome back to Sports in Review on KBC Sports, I'm Saotome Takeru

HP: And I am Park Himawari, it is currently the mid season break in the Konami Premier League

TS: *nods* Indeed and the current table is looking good and competitive near the top. With these teams making the top 5.
*displays graphic*
Konami Premier League Pld W D L GF GA GD Pts
1 Olympique Imgeum-si 24 16 3 5 58 44 +14 51
2 Akihabara Electric OFC 24 14 5 5 47 31 +16 47
3 Heiwa Wizards FC 24 13 5 6 68 49 +19 44
4 Haesan Metro FC 24 13 4 7 62 55 +7 43
5 Hyūga Valkyrie FC 24 12 5 7 63 52 +11 41

Hyūga is in the top five as expected with upcoming star Akiho Ubukata holding the midfield along with rookie midfielder Rin Mizoguchi and rookie couple of Sylvain Gainsborough and Nita Jagr raking in goals.

HP: Wow for a team with a former rookie and three new rookies, the historic Hyūga Valkyrie FC are doing quite well.

TS: Exactly, moving up on the list is the guarantee dark horse of the year, Haesan Metro FC in the fourth position. They jumped to fourth from division two after being brought by an Armeian company.

HP: They have a good team but I am uncomfortable with how quickly they become good with the injection of foreign money. Might be the beginning of a more predictable league.

TS:*Shrugs* Next on the list is Heiwa which only addition is star national team midfielder Ako Izumi as to aid NT reserve GK Rodigue the Wall Gaidnier gain more wins. With Akihabara in second.

HP: You would think the fantastic four of Yabuta, Nguyen, Fujisaka, and Takigawa would be enough to be in first. But they still look like strong contenders for the title and at the very least guaranteed to earn a globe cup spot.

TS: Exactly and you can't fault Akihabara for being in second when the deadly team of Matsuoka, Toure, Zupan, and Hojo have a fantastic four of there own in Imgeum.

HP: Oh year I forgot Sayo took Draga's place in Imgeum

TS: Well with the sudden surprise collapse of the Armeian league, Imgeum allowed Draga to reunite with her sister and jumped at the chance to sign Matsuoka, which seems to be paying off.

HP: Oh now I just can't wait for the second half to begin.

TS: It will be interesting to see if the addition of Takigawa will keep Akihabara at the top or will the addition of Matsuoka and Toure in Imgeum, the addition of Mizoguchi, Jagr, and Gainsborough in Hyuga, or the foreign finance Haesan have what it takes to reach that Champions Cup spot with a league title win. Well that's all we have time for today I have been Takeru Saotome

HP: And I've been Himawari ParkT in this edition of Sports in Review. KBC World News is next.

Sakura Air Explosion in Annam
Français|日本語|한국어|English
Newsroom Today | Kirishinan Broadcasting Corporation

Bonjour et Kon'nichiwa, welcome to Newsroom Today on the KBC Network, I'm Jwa Ji Woo. Breaking news out of the island known as Dao Ba`i Thom in southern Annam. Sakura Air flight BD-9712 to Kairaku was rocked by multiple explosions as it was taking off before crashing back down. At this point the death toll stands at thirty while there are 8 people wounded, 4 of which are in critical condition. The Annamese Queer Liberation Brigade of the Homofront claimed responsibility for the attack and for an attack on a Inyurstan plane later the same day. In a video released after the attack, the group explained why Kirishima lies within it's cross hairs.

"Our organization wishes to ask Kishirinan and Inyurstan governments; for how long governments which claim to stand for freedom, stand actually for oppression? Kishirima entered in free trade treaty and defense partnership with Nihon - a nation where homosexuality is discriminated against, where for advocating LGBT right you are either arrested under "Homosexual Propaganda Ban"! Kishirinan money is supporting organized persecution, and you are guilty of it. Then, comes the plight of homosexual men whose rights you failed to recognize by denying them divorce and right to change partners, creating countless unhappy pairs! You claim to be tolerant, while your policies claim otherwise. End your double standards, Kishirinan government, or we will strike you as enemy of progress and civil liberties you are!"

Back in Kirishima a whirlwind of reactions have and are being made in response to the attack. Hyuga native actress and well known activist for LGBT rights Si Min Hee responded quickly after the video. She wrote "The acts of Homofront does nothing to aid homosexuals around the world. We have worked hard to get to this relationship built on education, trust, and spiritual understanding. They want people to fear and scapegoat homosexuals to add to their cause. Real homosexuals in Kirishima never even had a problem with divorce laws. I urge my fellow brothers and sisters to resist the bait."

Meanwhile recently elected head of the LGBT party Francois De Von Scheck issued a formal statement of his own. "Recently Homofront attack our nation because of what they claim are unfair divorce laws and associations with discriminatory nations. I ask homofront where were they when we were actually fighting for our rights and who informed that we needed homofront help in Kirishima. The LGBT party has on it's own managed to improve conditions. In recent times we noticed evidence in Lake Shorian text that femininity in sexually relationships are always allowed an even the goddess engaged in homosexual acts. Our party raised awareness on it's own and we won full rights for Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgendered, and Androgynous gay men. We are so close to achieving all our goals as a party and trying to get more rights for non androgynous men in allowing for roles in media, public displays of affection, inclusion in prostitution and open public marriages among other things. We did all these things without homofront and we don't need to be negatively associated with such a group. It is for that reason that we intend to work with our fellow lawmakers in the assembly in monitoring for possible homofront sympathizers."

However not all groups are rallying together at this time. With LGBT groups stating their commitment in defending the rights they won. Liberal Party leader Myeong Yi decided to focus on criticizing Kasuga's foreign policy. She cited that focusing on how non oppressive conditions for LGBT groups in Kirishima is a waste of time. "All I have heard since the attack is either remorse or condemnation of Homofront by the LGBT community. While this is sound let's not forget that Kasuga's foreign policy placed us here. I understand that with a society like ours we would find communism to be hostile and being apart of SACTO helps defend us from that. However SACTO has had an increasing bloc of Judaeo-Christian and Islamic values that is also hostile to Kirishinan society. Kasuga and the HESL party currently wishes to preserve our culture which is quite sexually free however while it rants and raves about removing restriction foreign powers have placed. We side with people who would love to see the Liberty Party strip us yet again of our culture and values in favor of Slavnsk ones. Kirishinan values are seen by others as Liberal and democratic so why are we siding with the inverse and making ourselves a target....like I said in the debates, Kasuga lied to us, he said we would only be SACTO allies and he made us full members."

With SACTO approval rating taking hits with events such as the attack on a Kirishinan embassy in Nosamo, Silva increasing distrust among Kirishinans over it's role in the organization, and events in allied nation such as riots in Shadforad. This latest news that a link to Nihon being cited as a reason for attack certainly does not help Kasuga's position on SACTO. Kasuga who is currently in a two day state visit in Divourga addressed the issues. "I had warned homofront to not go through with there threats and I was ignored. At this time 30 peoples lives were lost including two lesbian women returning from a honeymoon. This shows that while they can excute a well planned attack and can hide their sexuality to escape suspicion, they do not know nor care who they attack. It is tragic and Kirishima will do whatever it can to weaken the Homofront by working with the LGBT community and not against it. I urge people who may be afraid to not do homofront's bidding by lashing out against fellow Kirishinans. I also urge people to no be so quick in seeking distancing from SACTO nations like Nihon. This would help give homofront by affecting our policies. Yes our cultural views are different but we share common goals and need to build more trust and relations with each other. This is why after I am done here in Guadalupador I plan to meet with the Nihonese in Ishikawa to better coordinate against homofront as well as simply put build trust. Our citizens do not have to approve of each other lifestyle but allies with an alliance and two treaties between us. We should work on accomplishing steps to our goals and against our enemies."

While the Federal Government plans to secure various aspect of the nation against further homofront attacks. It remains to be seen what can be done to handle both the homofront and PR issue that has seem to arrive from this. We will have more news after the break.

Surprise SDF Raid in Tokushima Prefecture
Français|日本語|한국어|English
Newsroom Today | Kirishinan Broadcasting Corporation

Bonjour et Kon'nichiwa, welcome to Newsroom Today on the KBC Network at the top of the hour, I'm Jwa Hae-Yun. Breaking news out of Tokushima Prefecture in Sitch Vasilikovska, Zholivodno, Tserkievno and Malushka. The Cipher Pol Special Duties Force had launch simultaneous raids and arrests of individuals suspected of being members or collaborators of the Slavic Orthodox Army. The Slavic Orthodox Army has been causing trouble in Tokushima Prefecture ever since the fallout of the Same Sex Marriage Act of 2015. In that piece of legislation Lesbians, Transgendered and Gays in which at least one of the partners was feminine or androgynous became legal. This on top of the fury from the trial period of legal prostitution sent locals into a frenzy with various incidents taken place such as a riot post football match in Sitch Vasilikovska, various abductions and attacks on brothels.

Cipher Pol 9 had some leads back from the aftermath of the attack on Nero' s Paradise in Zholivodno, but had nothing solid to connect things. After an anonymous tip linked 24 yr old Elena Leonidovna Yezhova to the attack. the picture started to become clear. After a period of monitoring mutual associates, family, fellow church members, and financial transactions CP 9 felt they finally had as much suspects they can find from one said individual. It also remains to be seen how many will actually be prosecuted and who will be let go.

Now who is Elena Leonidovna Yezhova? Well according to preliminary reports she was a former escort at Nero's Paradise in Zholivodno who went by the name of Lana. CP9 very early on felt that the Slavic Orthodox Army must've had someone on the inside with enough motive to give building plans to them. The reason for this was the speed security was taken out and how quick the attackers finished their business and left showing that they knew how the restrictive areas were laid out as well as camera placement. An anonymous tip from a disgruntled escort came in to CP 9 accusing the 24 yr old woman of collaborating with the SOA citing her problems with management. Cipher Pol filed the report off to the side but later in the investigation Yezhova stated to make more sense. Cipher Pol 9 director Junko Enoshima had this to say.

"Well folks this morning the Special Duties Force of Cipher Pol 9 had launch simultaneous raids on various locations in Tokushima. The plan was to apprehend all those that we suspected of being collaborators to or being members of the SOA. We took our time and built our base of suspects around chief suspect Elena Leonidovna Yezhova. Yezhova is believed to be the one responsible for reducing the security of Nero's Paradise in Zholivodno. Shortly before the attack the suspect received a large financial increase and moved to a nicer house in Sitch Vasilikovska. During our coordinated raids we ran into armed resistance at her residence. We were successful in neutralizing hostile forces that seemed to be her security arm and apprehended the key suspect in one piece. With Rasuto festival currently on going, we felt it was an appropriate time to deliver justice for past crimes. Kirishima will continue to defend the security of all terrorist be it SOA, Homofront, or anything in between..."

With Rasuto festival on going security is raised considering it leads up to the most important Lake Shorian holiday as well as the increase in sexual activity. It is assumed that groups like the SOA and Homofront are likely to strike in this time. CP 9 seems to have taken a preemptive strike against the SOA and it remains to be seen what the fallout will be. We will have more news after the break.

One Does Not Simply Walk Into Mosul
Iraq Awakening Front fends off an attack by Jaysh Al - Islam with ease.
Français|日本語|한국어|English
Newsroom Tonight| Kirishinan Broadcasting Corporation

Bonsoir et Konbanwa, welcome back to Newsroom Tonight on the KBC Network, I'm Sugiyama Shinya in Imgeum. Our first story comes from Iraq where earlier today Jaysh Al-Islam launched an offensive on Mosul in an attempt to maintain influence and security in their held Anbar province. Mosul lies in control of the Nifon backed Iraqi Awakening Front, a group that seeks the liberation of the entire Greater Syria Area and the establishment of a free, independent Syrian Arab state governed by a policy of federalism to reflect and respect diversity in the region. Although Jaysh Al-Islam's goal was Mosul, they denied entry by the IAF and Nifonese on the plains of Nineveh. Our middle east correspondent, Bin Jong-Kwan is in Tel al-Riyah, Riysa with more. Jong-Kwan?

JongKwan: With the Anbar Province clearly being under the control of Jaysh Al-Islam, the terrorist organization made a move on Mosul in an attempt to show strength, expose IAF as well as Nifonese weakness, and capture Sunni-dominated areas to increase their potential recruitment and support pool. On the other hand, the confrontation was an opportunity for the Iraqi Awakening Front and their Nifonese allies to show off their capabilities. If attempting to strike fear into Jaysh Al-Islam and other opposition factions were the goals, then the IAF were successful.

Operation Baked Clay as it's being called lasted for approximately 12 hours and was a complete and utter rout for Jaysh Al-Islam. According to sources, due to either logistical issues or plain incompetence by Jaysh Al-Islam, a noticeable gap exploited by the Iraqi Awakening Front and Nifonese forces helped to entrap Jaysh Al-Islam. Furthermore, air support meant to aid the terrorist have reportedly failed to arrive. As a result, the terrorists were decimated in the face of the superior IAF/Nifonese forces. According to an Iraqi Awakening Front spokesperson, Jaysh Al-Islam suffered approximately 30,000 casualties as opposed to 80 local IAF soldiers killed or wounded and 2 Nifonese wounded. While many of Jaysh Al-Islam's casualties occurred towards the beginning of the battle, a good amount came as a result of the chaotic fleeing of the terrorist group which was intercepted. As one might expect the morale of JAI has been shattered and the possibility of another massive attack let alone recovery, is very unlikely.

On the other hand, the morale of the IAF and Nifonese are through the roof. From merely a defensive position, the side had managed to destroy the attacking force and the hashtag #OneDoesNotSimplyWalkIntoMosul is already trending. With this difference in success and in morale, it is likely that a JAI support base in the Sunni north is nothing else but a dream. With Jaysh Al-Islam on the ropes, the focus remains on the Iraqi Awakening Front and the Nifonese as to what will their next act be. This has been Bin Jong-Kwan from Tel al-Riyah, Riysa. Back to you Shinya-san

Shinya:Thank You. With Jaysh Al-Islam currently weaked it remains to be seen as to what is next. Will Jaysh Al-Islam continued to be eliminated or will attention be turned towards the south and the Arab Liberation Front. Now on to our next story...

Nifon's Shogun visits Carloso
Français|日本語|한국어|English
Newsroom Today | Kirishinan Broadcasting Corporation

Bonjour et Kon'nichiwa, welcome back to Newsroom Today on the KBC Network, I'm Jwa Hae-Yun. Nifonese Shogun Maki Kojiro made a historic visit to Carloso where he recently addressed the Carlosian Parlement. This visit marks the first time a Nifonese leader has visited Carloso and is even much significant considering the two nations were at odds with one another not too long ago. With Populism on the rise in Carloso there is a growing sense of fraternity as the two nations find themselves standing against various leftist ideas that they oppose. Our KBC correspondent Son Kyu-Hwan is in New Carlingford with more.

Kyu-Hwan:New Carlingford, a city that could've easily been the current home of the IFC if Carloso never left. Not too long ago if you were to take a survey of people in this city, a majority of people would not have favorable things to say about the Nifonese. However Today one does not need to look hard to see the streets filled with people waving Carlosian and Nifonese flags, as well as hear favorable things about the Nifonese.

In his speech, Kojiro voiced displeasure on the soft stance on communism that many liberal democracies took. He also stated that in his view many a majority of liberal democracies had their entire thought process resemble marxism and that multiple theories that are present today in liberal democracies are actually of Marxist origin. To back his claim he referenced the Democratic Peace Theory, a theory that claims that democracies are less likely to wage war against one another and compared the goal of achieving such a utopia similar to a communist utopia. Kojiro goes on to state that both communism and liberal democracies both find religion and morality incompatible it there utopia. Kojiro's speech also contained attacked commentary on Egalitarianism, Psychological Egoism, and status being used to deprive people of speech and debate.

Kojiro announced plans for a Holy Alliance as a counter-revolution to the current mainstream culture that has been emerging as of late. Kojiro also called on quote "the people of the West who have not forgotten the virtue" to preserve the natural order and push evil back. These remarks were meant with support from the majority of the Carlosian Parliment with left wing politicians being understandably concerned with the speech. In a speech outside the Parliment, Carlosian President Carl. J Tobin echoed many of the statements made by the Nifonese Shogun a short while prior. The Carlosian President signaled an intent to be active against what both nations see as hostile ideas and stand up for smaller nations. Tobin also declared that Carloso must be prepared to intervene militarily in foreign populist revolutions, resurgences in national pride and interest in traditional values.

With that said it remains to be seen what effect this has on Kirishima. Kirishinan-Carlosian relations have been bland and inactive ever since Carloso withdrawal from the IFC. Furthermore, Kirishima knows the level of compatibility and its place in Kojiro's vision but the mindset of Tobin is unknown. Guessing is even harder as the same man who was in charge when Carloso had bad relations with Nifon, is the same leader now causing the government in Heiwa to remain uncertain. One can believe the Kasuga administration will not want to be in the dark for long and it seems it will only be a matter of time before Kirishima plans to see where they fit in the Carlosian vision. Son Kyu-Hwan, KBC World, New Carlingford.

Jwa Hae-Yun: Thank You for that report. Back in Kirishima, the government is paying very close attention to the development of relations between Carloso and Nifon. Federal Palace Press Secretary Omotayo Taiwo was asked a few questions related to this story a short while ago. Let's take a look.

Reporter #6: "Recently the Shogun of Nifon, Maki Kojiro visited the Carlosian legislature. The first question is, What are the thoughts of the Dirigent with the fact that Carloso who was hostile to Nifon for much longer, had the privilege of hosting the Nifonese Shogun while no Nifonese government representative has addressed the Kirishinan public?"

Omotayo Taiwo:" Well Kasuga-Seonbae has met with Kojiro-san in Ishikawa for both the Tokugawa Treaty and Congress of Ishikawa. Furthermore, it is not like Nifon has not sent anyone before, they have sent us Gen. Takeda. With that said a General is not an official government representative. We get that, but Carloso is going through something significant and it makes sense for the Nifonese Shogun to visit Carloso at this time. With that said Kasuga plans on getting in touch with Ishikawa to arrange for Kojiro to visit the National Assembly here in Heiwa. Kasuga believes that the people and opposition politicians need to see for themselves that while the Nifonese do not like aspects of our culture. They respect our right to preserving our way of life and that we do have a place Kojiro's worldview.

Reporter #2: Carlosian President Carl Tobin stated that he intends to intervene militarily in foreign populist revolutions, resurgences in national pride and interest in traditional values. Now we know that Kasuga on multiple occasions has decried Populism and despite being a grassroots politician as preferred to label himself as a Traditionalist. With that in mind, where does Kirishima fit in Tobin worldview? Would he support the Traditionalist ruling party or would he favor a more right-wing populist candidate should one arise that brings Kirishima back to the times of Colonialism and the mid to late 70's?"

Omotayo Taiwo:" I don't know as that is something you should ask Tobin. What I can say is that the Kasuga administration will seek an answer to that asap. It is important to find out early if Tobin truly meant defending Traditional values and respecting territorial and culture sovereignty that all nations are entitled to; or if he only meant protecting right wing, Judeo-Christian traditional values. We are prepared for either reality in how we deal with a nation that has a similar ally as us."

Reporter #7: "Hatayan President Ali Golofad recently addressed the Shogun's visit to Carloso, are you aware of it and if so does the Federal Palace have a reaction to it?"

Omotayo Taiwo: "Yes we are aware and there is no official reaction. Golofad argued that Kojiro's speech that was supposed to be reconciliation was nothing but decisive and hostile to the nation Kojiro was visiting. Kojiro while ranting about Liberal Democracies did not lump Carloso in that group and even stated that they have virtue compared to other western democracies. At the end of the day Nifon and Carloso has a few things in common and perhaps Golofad should spend more time gauging the public's response before making large accusations."

Reporter# 11: "Inyurstan Jean-Baptiste Calderone complimented the emerging ties between Carloso and Nifon. Is there any reaction?"

Omotayo Taiwo: "Not really. The message was a simply commending of the emerging relationship of Carloso and Nifon in a pool of I think it's called edginess. It is not every day that you hear a head of state say things like low energy beta male or imply another leader is homosexual. That unprofessional charm has seemingly always been well received by the Inyurstan Public and that is all that matters. On the other hand, we don't have the time or need to observe that behavior unless it directly concerns the Taisuist Republic.

Jwa Hae-Yun: At this time the Nifonese Shogun is still in Carloso and we will have more on this story as it develops. For more information on how this affects Kirishima please be sure to watch the Carloso segment on tonight's episode of the Oolong Lounge. We have some special guest including a former Dirigeant. Now onto our next story.....

Kasuga: "Move or Be Moved"
Français|日本語|한국어|English
Newsroom Today | Kirishinan Broadcasting Corporation

Bonjour, Kon'nichiwa, et Annyeonghaseyo. Welcome to Newsroom Today on KBC World, I'm Woo Hae-Yun. Dirigeant Arata Kasuga signaled his intention to issue an Executive Edict in response to a perceived lack of action by some in Little Nosamo. The move marks Kasuga's first Executive Edict as Dirigeant of the Taisuist Republic and goes against his earlier stated desires to avoid using an edict for such purposes. In this Executive Edict, the main points listed are as follows. First, all Dorians who are overdue to move during the latest deadline will have a 3-month extension to cooperate in moving. Should this be done, all benefits of selecting location and living near friends will still be available. Second, After the 3-month grace period, those refusing to leave will be moved with no preference to location. Third, An appeal extension will be made available out of goodwill but with reduced perks and finally, those who file for an extension and make no effort to move, will be deported to their nation of origin at the end of the extension period. This is the most controversial part of the Edict as for many Dorians that would mean getting sent back to New Yama. For more, we turn to our KBC correspondent Kohei Munakata who has the full report.

Kohei:With the second relocation deadline for the first wave of Dorian asylum seekers now passed, it seems that the frustration of the Kasuga Administration and the pressures of various ethnic groups have reached new heights. While many Dorians have relocated their homes outside of Little Nosamo or have received an official exemption, there are still a substantial amount of Dorians who refuse to not only relocate but refuse to learn any of the official languages. After months of what critiques called passive inaction, the Dirigreant while finishing up a visit to Mellburg was confronted by the press following the missed deadline. We do not have footage but the Saeki Press reports that Kasuga looked visibly disappointed and stated that he did not want it to come down to this but has no choice but to issue an Executive Edict. He went on to say quote

"We have a system here that is not perfect but works, and has been done for many generations. The issue here has normally been how can we make it more effective and organic, not whether people will actively refuse to integrate. This has nothing to do with losing one's culture but about additional tools to fit in the home society. You can even say an additional culture. Point is this will not stand and those who refuse to move will be the end of this will move or be moved."

In the Kasuga Administration bid for transparency when not related to national security. The Federal Palace issued a statement saying that the Saeki Press piece is accurate and not falsified. Since that time some of the contents of that Edict have made it's way to the public before Kasuga-seonbae could even return to Heiwa, it is reported that he did depart Beaufort but the precise location and ETA is confidential as expected. One thing for sure is that this will be a trying time between Kasuga-seonbae and the Dorian population but also other refugee/asylum populations such as Filipinos, many of which have been critical of the Dorian asylum population. Kohei Munakata, KBC World, Heiwa.

Woo Hae-Yun: Thank You for that report. Despite Kasuga not being in Heiwa during his announcement, many people sought answers for this latest development. Federal Palace Press Secretary Omotayo Taiwo fielded some of this questions earlier. Let's take a look.

Mikan Akemi: "Akemi Mikan, The Saeki Press, With the amount of time that passed from the relocation deadline to an edict was this planned or did it happen on the spot? What was the motivation behind it? "

Omotayo Taiwo:" Kasuga-Seonbae has met with his cabinet on few occasions after the first deadline past about what to do should there be people who ignore the second deadline. There are those even then that wanted to take more aggressive action, Kasuga being the man that he is, gave more time as he has always stated that he wanted to avoid Edicts during his term. So this was planned and on the shelf for the occasion that the latest deadline was not met. As for the motivation, Kasuga just wants to ensure that there is no self-segregation. We believe this policy affects how children grow up and help make a nation very diverse...at least compared to other Asian nations remain functional."

Casel Risalge: "This is Guadalupador News Today, and reporter Casel Risalge, We've talked to a lot of ethnic Guadalupadorian business owners and restauranteurs currently living in Little Nosamo, and they're concerned that they'll be kicked out of their homes and business that they just built over the course of the year here. Will Kasuga's Edict affect them?"

Omotayo Taiwo:" No, Kasuga's Edict will not affect them. Restaurants and businesses were and remain immune to this Edict same goes for the owners. As for the employees of these restaurants and businesses they have special priority but are not completely exempt. They can file an E-1 form on the government's relocation page, at any real estate firm or website. With this, they will have priority to live in a neighboring neighborhood or at the unlikely worst-case scenario. Be located an easy commute away from their business. As expected with this sort of thing, the earlier you file the better off your exact choice is available.

Hassan Syomeo: "Hassan Syomeo, Ever Vigilant, (Yanamaist Party of Guadalupador's News Publication) So what's really behind this Executive Edict? Are you finally caving into the Sackies within your Liberty Party that want to see asylum seekers meet their deaths at the hand of the Martinezist Puppet New Yama?"

Omotayo Taiwo: "The purpose of this edict is to ensure that Dorian Asylum seekers that are planning on living here long term as citizens follow regulation like immigrants and refugees. This affects a minority in the Dorian community as many Dorians have complied with moving already. Little Nosamo is not going anywhere, it is good to have a center of culture where food, music, festivals can be followed. However, we can't have people stubbornly live there separate from the main country and not even able to communicate in any of the two and soon to be three official languages. As for the Deportation part, Kasuga-seonbae really does not want to do that and I believe it shows in the very specific violation it takes to be deported to New Yama. It's a deterrent. It's a provision for those who make no effort to move, get evicted and assigned a place to live, as we would not kick an asylum seeker into the streets. Then while receiving a notice of Eviction file an E-3 form asking for clemency and an extension to voluntarily move and then once again make no effort to move. Furthermore, for those who ignored the first two deadlines, they have three months till there a third and final deadline. This means the only way deportation to New Yama happens is ignoring the next three months, seeking an extension and then ignoring the next two months with no effort. Regular deportations for criminal activity still results in being sent to the Federal Union. "

Woo Hae-Yun: Over in Guadalupador, the preliminary reporting seems to be negative, some would believe that Kasuga and the Taisuist Republic do not care about their family members and friends and while understand the idea of assimilating into Kirishinan culture, are appalled at the notion that Kirishima would send refugees back to New Yama.

Dorians in Kirishima are more split. Most Dorians have made efforts at assimilation, but still, want a cultural community within a foreign land considering the content of the Edict, it is safe to say those concerns should dissipate in the coming days. The real issue here will be the few Dorians that refuse to assimilate. There are concerns that they will see their culture under further attack. In local social media, some have called Kasuga a liar and feel that he was very disingenuous about his promise to help asylum seekers. This has already led to some counter blowback from other immigrant groups. It remains to be seen how this story will play out in the coming days, but only time will tell and we will look towards the signing of the Edict and the third deadline to see what happens next....*paper shuffle* In our next story.....

Fracturing of the Kirishinan Right!
Français|日本語|한국어|English
Newsroom Tonight| Kirishinan Broadcasting Corporation

Bonsoir et Konbanwa, welcome back to Newsroom Tonight on the KBC Network, I'm Sugiyama Shinya in Imgeum. We are here with developing news as we have reports that Kirishinan Liberty Party will split in the coming days. While disagreements as to what direction the Liberty party should head in have been well noted following their third place finish in last years national elections where they pulled in only 10.8%, this comes as a surprise to some. Others have been predicting this split for sometime considering it was a new a fragile party that sought to unify the right and those who felt that the ruling traditionalist H.E.S.L party was too left. For more on the story we turn to our National Assembly correspondent, Jeon Beom-Ho with the report.

BeomHo: I am here at the National Assembly in Heiwa where things are being turned upside down. With next years legislative elections coming up many political parties held their end of the year conferences to go over party objectives. Historically this is the time of year where parties are born and where they die and just two years ago this is how the Liberty Party was form and this seems to be where the party as we know it will die.

The Liberty Party formed as a way of unifying voices on the right who felt that the HESL Coalition Party was too far to the left despite its traditionalist views. They took the nation by storm when they made it to the final stage of the national election under the campaign of Jacques Tachibana,a former brigadier - general in the Kirishinan Army. They were well funded and well organized and seemingly had a monopoly on the right wing vote over the other three parties involved but failed to account for the Traditionalist aspect of the HESL. The problem seemed to have stemmed from too broad of a voter base with controversial conservative Liberty Party stances on LGBT rights and Prostitution clashing with the Traditionalist views of the HESL coalition party. The ruling party hammered home the fact that the quote so called conservative party end quote, were not being conservative for Kirishinans in social matters but for foreign Judeo-Christian beliefs.

The convention of the Liberty Party essentially broke into major two camps with one camp fervently sticking to many of the social beliefs that were seen in the previous election while the other seeking to pivot closer to the HESL Coalition while focusing on being more right wing economically in comparison to the ruling party. At this point many sources close to the discussion have conceded that the Liberty Party as we know now does not have much longer to live as a unified voice of the right. Jeon Beom-Ho, Heiwa.

Shinya: "Thank You. As previously stated this is still a developing story and we will have more on this split as news continues to break however joining me now is Liberty Party assemblyman and a member of the opposition to Tachibana, Liu Shun-Hua! Liu-san thank you for taking the the time to join us."

ShunHua: "It is my pleasure"

Shinya: "I think one of the main things that many Kirishinan and even more tuning in abroad want to know is why is this split happening?"

ShunHua: "I wish I had a suitable answer for you but it simply comes down to fundamental differences in how our party should move forward going on. We have been trying to work together for the past few days trying to reach a unified platform that we can all unite behind and rally voters to our cause as we seek to make Kirishima as great as it can be. We just had certain differences that we couldn't reconcile and it became apparent that we can't all fit productively under the same umbrella."

Shinya: "You mentioned having differences that couldn't be reconciled could you explain some of those."

ShunHua: "I don't want to get too into it right now but the group I'm apart of feels like some of the platform of the Liberty Party seems out of place in Kirishima so much so that those who would otherwise vote for us, do not as they fear what our victory could mean for them."

Shinya: "Such as?"

ShunHua: "Well the Liberty Party stance against Prostitution and seeking to re-criminalize it was huge. First off we served Kasuga a meatball throughout the entire election that no matter how much we revised parts of our platform, we always kept that in. Our reasoning and facts were skewed and taking from non Kirishinan sources. Despite it's role in the majority religion, Kirishinan culture, and the positive effects that has been seen since it was re-legalize. Now I say re-legalize, which means when was it illegal? That was when we were under a Christian military regime so for us to waste time and try to change the nature of our people in a fashion only done previously by such a hated government, what do we have to gain outside of certain small immigrant and migrant groups...It distracted us from the real issues."

Shinya: "What issues were the Liberty Party suppose to focus on in your view?"

ShunHua: "Economic, such as lowering income taxes, investing more in local agriculture, giving incentives to young new and vibrant families, as they are the bedrock of society. Lowering the corporate tax is another and the establishment of certain protective tariffs. Those are more important than trying to shape Kirishinan traditionalist into western conservatives."

Shinya: "Well we will be looking at the split with close attention and I am sure the nation will be interested to see which group is vindicated in next years legislative elections. Once again thank you for joining us!"

ShunHua: "Anytime!"

We now head on to our next story...

Kirishinan-Cuscatlani Trade Agreement Signed!
Français|日本語|한국어|English
Newsroom Today| Kirishinan Broadcasting Corporation

Bonjour, Kon'nichiwa, et Annyeonghaseyo! Welcome to Newsroom Today on KBC World, I'm Woo Hae-Yun here in Heiwa. We have developing news coming out of Santa Luisa, Cuscatlan. In a move that few could've anticipated at this time last year, Kirishima and Gran Cuscatlan have signed an trade agreement as they seek closer ties through economic cooperation. The agreement goals are to ease the movement of key goods and materials between the two nations. We turn to our corespondent Kosaku Izuhara with the report.

Kosaku:In a surprising and unannounced move, Kirishinan Minister of Commerce Kimimaro Yoga traveled to Gran Cuscatlan to negotiate a trade agreement with is counterpart Col. Raúl Piñón Agramonte. The two nations which had at one point frigid relations have both taken a softer tone towards each other as of late and this trade agreement has potential to being a massive leap forward. In the agreement the Taisuist Republic will gain access to Cuscatlani Coffee, Cocoa, Rubber, and Oil while on the other hand Gran Cuscatlan will have it's market open to Kirishinan automotives, appliances, and electronics. While Cuscatlani's are set to profit tremendously especially from Rubber. On the Kirishinan side of things Seongwoo and Kiwa Motors are both set to have new markets for their vehicles, while Wonsik and Tenshun plan to have their conglomerates compete with Nifonese firms like Murakami and Miyahara. Following the signing of the agreement Kimimaro Yoga had positive words to say.

Kimimaro: "Gran Cuscatlan has been a nation that has caught the eyes of Kirishinan companies for some time now. The economy here is going though a renaissance thanks to the hard work of my counterpart Agramonte-san, Silva-shi, and the Cuscatlani people themselves. These companies wanted to expand here and wondered why despite being allies, was no trade between our nations occurring. They took solace in the words and attitude of Kasuga-shi and Silva-shi and has led us to this moment. May this relationship be fruitful and mutually beneficial."

Kosaku: Now during the proceedings Carlos Silva met with Kimimaro Yoga and expressed his desire to meet with Arata Kasuga in a more prolonged meeting at a later date. How else will Kirishinan-Cuscatlani relations develop remains to be seen but for today it seems safe to say that economically these two nations are closer than even before. Kosaku Izuhara, KBC World, Santa Luisa, Cuscatlan.

Here at home there is anticipated opposition to the trade agreement especially from Dorian and Filipino immigrant groups due to Gran Cuscatlan's and SACTO's role in causing their displacements from Guadalupador and Asigna Philippines respectively. There are also lingering issues between Gran Cuscatlan and Kirishima such as the Kirishinan Embassy raid in Nosamo and the Cuscatlani harboring terrorist Amanda Velasquez but also Kirishima's continued commitment to Guadalupador despite them being a geo-political enemy to Gran Cuscatlan. To help explain not only the warming relations between the two nations but also the factors allowing this to happen is a foreign policy expert who is a Professor at the University of Aridane and former Dirigeant Negi Springfield. Thank You for joining us Springfield-sensei.

Negi: "It's a pleasure to be here."

Hae-Yun: "Now this is your first appearance on the news as a professor and not as former Dirigeant so as tempting as it is to ask you about the H.E.S.L Coalition Party you created and the direction it's heading in, we will need to leave that for another time. Now sensei, what would you say are the biggest factor of Kirishinan relations improving with Cuscatlan and SACTO at large?"

Negi: "Well first to be clear you can't have better relations with Cuscatlan without having better relations with SACTO. It's not the rule but the political climate wouldn't be right unless Kirishima was more committed and a part of SACTO's goal and mission. That window was Nifon, the increasing relations between them and the TRK is important towards all of this. Yes Kirishima has good relations with states like Aravea and the Organized States but when you think of the very high level, it's Nifon that stands out. Now it's Kojiro's view in preserving culture and not being agressive to states that preserve their culture whilst not seeking to promote it forcefully or condemn Nifon's culture essentially. Their are aspects of each other cultures that people in both sides are not comfortable with but both sides respect the others right to their culture which is very significant.

Hae-Yun: "I see"

Negi: "Another factor is a side effect of a divided Guadalupador. Every confrontation Kirishima ever had with SACTO was not due to it's stance on communism, or beliefs or anything. In fact there has never been a Cuscatlani-Kirishinan conflict or Kirishinan-SACTO conflict. Usually it was Kirishima supporting Guadalupador or in the case of the first encounter, supporting Arcadonisia. So with Guadalupador's power projection reduced, the Kirishinan alliance to Guadalupador went from a major issue to a minor issue in SACTO's eyes."

Hae-Yun:"With that said is that all it took? A friendly and talkative Nifon and a precious ally being carved up?"

Negi: "Not at all, while those conditions were ripe, Kirishima needed the right leader for the job. I personally never encountered SACTO or AXIS during my terms as Dirigeant of Kirishima. In fact my time ended after I brokered the end of the Central African Civil War. It is Kiryuin-san who I respect dearly and chose to represent the party who wasn't quite prepared to deal with foreign policy. She carried on with interventionism in a role Kirishima has never been in before and committed several faux pas. Her pick to lead the party when she resigned is much more knowledgeable and capable. Kasuga-san is as much of a factor as the external ones as it is clear he is more respected by SACTO than Kiryuin-san ever was."

Hae-Yun: "Is certainly seems so, with that said, it remains to be seen the fallout of this trade agreement. Thank You Springfield-shi for joining us."

Negi: "It was a pleasure."

Now despite the trade agreement there are still some outstanding issues between Gran Cuscatlan and Kirishima that needs to be resolved but it seems that both Silva and Kasuga are taking steps to inevitably further nurture these rising relations.

Now on towards our next story where....

Terror in Cordoba!
Français|日本語|한국어|English
Newsroom Today| Kirishinan Broadcasting Corporation

Bonjour, Kon'nichiwa, et Annyeonghaseyo! Welcome to Newsroom Today on KBC World, I'm Woo Hae-Yun here in Heiwa. We have developing news coming out of Cordoba, Inyursta. Yesterday afternoon at 1pm Inyurstan time, 3 am this morning Kirishinan time gunfire and explosions occurred setting off a series of terrorist activity in the Inyurstan city. At this time we are looking at 40+ dead and about half of that wounded according to early reports. We turn to our foreign corespondent Henri Pak who is in Fjorda De'Rivera with the report.

Henri:Lying to the west of Fjorda is the city of Cordoba, a once hotbed of violence and crime in the late 80's & 90's which today is a stock & trade powerhouse. Hours ago was a typical Sunday, with beautiful tropical climate and it's caressing golden rays of sunlight, classy dressed Inyurstans many of which were released from a typical Sunday services. It was the kind of picturesque scene you would see in a tourism ad but it was sadly not meant to be on this occasion. At around 1pm local time Mayor Fabio Delevin and his family were finished with lunch when gunfire erupted until in the confusion a suicide bomber managed to get close to the mayor and his family. Neither the mayor nor his immediate family managed to survive the attack.

This alone would be a tragedy but several believed to be related attacks would follow suit. Shortly after the explosion, a second explosion occurred about a dozen blocks away this time being a city bus before more gunfire broke out at nearby Plaza de Sant-Cristophe. It also seem from eyewitness testimony that a machete was used by one of the perpetrators who killed indiscriminately without pattern including beheading a victim in a barbaric fashion. Police arrived on that scene neutralizing two terrorist while losing an officer with another one wounded meanwhile a civilian neutralized the last attacker with their firearm.

Finally a third attack took place at Basilica de Sant-Cristophe during a Sunday service. Emergency Services were ambushed as they tried to respond to that scene in what culminated in a truly horrific day. At this time we are aware of eight terrorist killed and one captured but local authorities are unsure as to whether there are more terrorist unaccounted for at this time. Henri Pak, KBC World, Fjorda De'Rivera, Inyursta.

Hae-Yun: Thank you for that report...Henri Pak will be heading out for Cordoba later today are thoughts and prayers go out to him as we wish him luck. The KBC would also like to offer condolences to all affected.

Homofront has claimed responsibility for the attacks in Cordoba and this seems to be in relation to a recent Supreme Court ruling in Inyursta. In the case Pólèrmo et Iglesias vs Département D'Éducation the ruling was the teaching of scientific fact relevant to a course did not qualify as discrimination. If it turns out to be true, that the Inyurstan Supreme Court ruling was the motive for the attack this may point to a dangerous escalation in Homofront activity.

As of right now we have no official word from Inyurstan President Jean-Baptiste Calderone however a photo has leaked of President Calderone punching a wall in a clear sign of anger. It is not clear whether the leak was intentional or not. Meanwhile back here in Heiwa, Federal Palace Press Secretary Omotayo Taiwo had a little bit to say during the morning briefings.

Omotayo Taiwo: "Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Cordoba and the nation of Inyursta. We know that whether they are in Paradise with the God of Abraham or with the Goddess Kamiya, the victims who lost their lives will be taken care of and those who lost their lives as attackers have thankfully only begun their eternal punishment. As for right now l'Dirigeant is currently being briefed by intelligence and plans to personally reach out to his Inyurstan counterpart during this difficult time. We will keep the press updated throughout the week with anything we can..."

Hae-Yun: The KBC will keep you up to date with any developments as they come in.

Kirishima's Hydrogen Future
Français|日本語|한국어|English
Newsroom Today| Kirishinan Broadcasting Corporation

Bonjour, Kon'nichiwa, et Annyeonghaseyo! Welcome back to Newsroom Today on KBC World, I'm Woo Hae-Yun here in Heiwa. Hydrogen economy is one of the four sectors, along with AI, big data, and nuclear energy that the Kasuga Administration is investing in heavily to secure Kirishima's future growth. Yeo Ho-Jae has more on the concept behind the hydrogen economy, and some of the key factors that could make or break the sector.

[Ho-Jae] Hydrogen Economy refers to the transition to hydrogen as an energy source as a replacement to fossil fuels such as coal, gas, and petroleum. Unlike fossil fuels, hydrogen is abundant both on earth and the universe at large. It can be burned to produce heat or combined with air in a fuel cell in a reaction that produces electricity. The byproduct of that reaction is water, so it's very eco-friendly.

The Kasuga Administration's vision of hydrogen economy, announced last week, is meant to boost the production of hydrogen-powered cars and fuelling stations to help drive economic growth.

Kirishima imports around 85 percent of its energy from abroad. Hydrogen is a clean energy source that is not only is helpful for the environment but it can also help Kirishima improve its energy security. On top of that, both Kiwa and Sungwoo Motor are among the first companies in the world to have produced hydrogen-powered cars, giving Kirishima a competitive edge in leading the development of hydrogen-powered electric cars.

The government plans to broaden the use of hydrogen fuel cell batteries from cars to other sectors like heating and industry,... and to generate 15 gigawatts of power from hydrogen by 2045. It expects the transition to the hydrogen economy to create around 40 billion NSD in economic value and 435-thousand jobs by 2045. But for that to happen, experts say advances in technology and cost-efficiency are key.

Kirishima is not the first to have tried to invest in hydrogen but investment has fallen in many nations because the technology is very difficult and there is competing lobbying from the old guards of energy. Many global automakers are keen on betting on electric cars. For hydrogen fuel cell electric cars to be used widely, there needs to be technology to create and store clean hydrogen energy, and the costs have to come down.

Currently, the government subsidizes nearly half the price of hydrogen-powered cars, which cost more than 60-thousand NSD each.
On top of bringing down production costs, deregulation and private sector investment to build infrastructure like hydrogen fueling stations will be important, which would require detailed plans, policy consistency, and cooperation between those at the forefront and Heiwa.

Kasuga Declines Re-Election Bid!
Français|日本語|한국어|English
Newsroom Tonight| Kirishinan Broadcasting Corporation

Bonsoir et Konbanwa, welcome back to Newsroom Tonight on the KBC Network, I'm Sugiyama Shinya coming to you live from Imgeum. We are here with shocking developing news as Dirigeant Arata Kasuga has announced that he will not be running again for re-election. Kasuga had burst on the scene in the wake of Kiryuin Satsuki stepping down from office and ran under the HESL Coalition. While there were some reservations on voting for a relative unknown, the fact that he was trusted by Kiryuin, would be part of the ruling government and had the best shot had to beat the upstart and surging Convist Party with mere days till election day. Whilst in office the Dirigeant oversaw peace talks during the Dorian Crisis. With only serving a year as interim Dirigeant Kasuga had to make the case that he had what it took to rule.

In his second election, he faced a tough challenge from the then Liberal Union leader Myeong Yi. Defeating her 43% to 37% staking his platform on a return to traditions a tradition that was threatened in the '70s and according to Kasuga under attack by the Liberty Party. Those views led to historic turnouts in Hanarejima and big turnout on the island of Zipangu. In his second term, Kasuga oversaw a referendum in which Prostitution went from de facto to de jure, ties with SACTO nations reaching the highest it's ever been, record-high SACTO approval numbers, reforming his coalition party into a stand-alone one and had reduced interventions when compared to Kiryuin, Springfield, Hōjō and Drake. It will take time to see his effect on the economy and social issues but one thing is sure, Kasuga is stepping down whilst having good approval numbers. Here is some of what he said earlier.

[Kasuga] "It is with careful consideration and deep reflection that I must announce that I Kasuga Arata will not be running for reelection. Now I know I am capable of running due to my first term being a short interim position. With that said I never really had aspirations for power just for the sake of power. I was fed up with the state our country was in, fed up with how in the wake of the Empress passing we either bowed to the cultural whims of outsides or were afraid to rectify it when we had control. I am pleased to say that I have accomplished everything I dreamed of and more. I want to leave the Jeontongdang and the nation with a leader that has fresh ideas and a fresh vision. Rather than serve another term I want to save any potential election bid for a time I feel that I am needed. I do have some ideas as to who I want to run in my stead and plan to meet with my fellow Jeontongdang members to decide who we think holds the future. I look forward to finishing my term strong and ensure whoever succeeds me has a smooth transition as I have with Kiryuin, as she has had with Springfield, Morita, Hojo, Drake, Motoi, and Aso. All leaders who took ensuring our liberation from oppression seriously..."

[Sugiyama] With that we send it over to Akemi Mikan who is over in Heiwa. Now Akemi-san surely the timing of this is a bit bizarre with Kasuga's brand new party going into its first national election.

[Akemi] Yes with election day coming in March it is expected that we will hear who may be next to represent the Jeontongdang Party in the coming days. With that said it is odd. It was a big step to take the Coalition Party who won 5 consecutive elections with Springfield twice, Kiryuin, and then Kasuga twice, taking that success and change it. As the saying goes, if it is not broken don't fix it. So Kasuga consolidates the party and ends up losing seats to both the Liberal Union and the new Prosperity Party in the lower house legislative elections. On the other hand, one can also argue rather than fixing something that isn't broken, Kasuga sought to upgrade the coalition. Although the party has won the last five elections the politics of Springfield, Kiryuin and Kasuga all differ. You can see this as a move to make sure that the politicians and voters are all on the same consistent page. You have to imagine that Kasuga can't afford to find someone unknown like Kiryuin did with him if the Jeontongdang wants to prove that it does not need to rely on being a faction inside of a coalition.

Akemi Mikan, KBC News, Heiwa

[Sugiyama] The KBC will continue to closely follow the Jeontongdang as they find a new candidate to get behind. Campaigning is set to begin next month and while the Jeontongdang has yet to make any moves Liu Shun-Hua announced his candidacy under his upstart Prosperity Party a few weeks ago in a bid to show the Liberty Party that there can be a strong Kirishinan right-wing without sacrificing Kirishinan identity. Speaking about the Liberty Party they are currently deciding between fmr candidate Tachibana James, Kayabuki Yoko, and Yamamoto Osamu. Kiriprog, on the other hand, is currently deciding between fmr. candidate and founder Ishida Kenji, avid feminist Ye Hwan Hee and Mikogami Tsukasa.
