What does your capital city look like?

A view over Athens Business District, all the way over to the hills beyond.

Most of the residential districts maintain their Mediterranean feel, but with modernized building materials, solar energy panels and repaved roads. The Acropolis still stands after being declared a cultural heritage site and has been renovated with tonnes of marble.

Eloma i'Maqsis Qita'lia sprawls lazily across the peninsula like a multicoloured moss growing over a rock. Its buildings are typically low and well-spaced, with walkways and pathways crisscrossing through parks and gardens. Most buildings are white or pastel coloured, with plenty of transparent surfaces. At the centre of the city, on a plaza outside of the grey, three-storey Administration Building, stands a great statue showing a typical Contact scenario in abstract. The city's pathways wind like tendrils out into the valleys beyond the peninsula, fanning out towards the rest of the vast habitat that our people inhabit.

The Mighty Rossworks Capital city is a large multiple walled city with mega-towers and neon lights everywhere. There are large stammeringly blue Canals lining the city with clean pristine streets. Colossal skyscrapers pierce the clean blue sky. lush and lavish hotels and casinos litter the many broad avenues with performing artists and businessmen. However not all is pleasant. Often times one may see one of many patrolling Riot guards beating an unruly troublemaker with a signature baton and glass shield. Behind many large flourishing trees that are planted between road lanes are ominous security cameras. There's not a crack on the sidewalk that is not cleaned within minutes. nor are there any litterbugs (vandals) Because of Riot drones stock full of rubber bullets, mace, shotgun shells, Electric clamps, and bean bags. Crowded and lavishly paved walkways are filled with suit wearing and tall men and women commuting to work or leisure areas such as live theater shows, casinos, theme parks, and much much much more.

Mailliotbourg (pronounced maijoˈbuɾ) is the capital of and second-largest city in Acratania. The history of the city dates back to the conquest of Acratania, when it was established as a military station in the northern part of the country. Over time, a town developed around the military outpost to service the troops, and the city eventually grew to become one of Acratania's most powerful. The city is located in central Vautrinia along the Chambriot river.

The original city-state of Orionipolis grew to a Queendom and forms the epicentre for the current Empire. A collection of 5 city-states that surrounded the capital joined together to form Omnipolis ("city of all"). In ancient times this area was also referred to as Magna Orioni ("Greater Orioni"). Nowadays this area is commonly referred to as O'polis.
