It is permitted to burn the flag, but itself is an illegal possession for a civilian; the flag is the royal standard.

Burning the imperial flag is considered a threat to the empire, and it punished on charges of treason.

On the other hand, if we're playing a "nation-above" style game, this might be better placed in F7.

Protestors can burn the flag of any nation they please, it is a protected speech activity.

Yes, it is allowed. Burning is actually the only proper way to dispose of a flag. It is insolent to place one in a waste receptacle.

Yes. It's not hurting anyone, except maybe the person who inhales the smoke. they have the right to be allowed to inhale toxic fumes.

The ability for protesters to burn flags is protected under free speech. The LSR flag is not easily set alight however.

Flag burning is acceptable, if it is a foreign flag. Not if it is that of the Empire.

Flag desecration is legal, in the interests of free speech.

Burning any flag is technically legal in the Mechanocracy, and desecrating foreign flags is actively encouraged - especially those that represent values in opposition to our own (peace emblems, Nazi swastikas, religious symbols, etc.), such as the above's. Though it is not recommended to burn our flag, or any other flag that represents communism/socialism/that kind of thing. That will just get you killed or seriously hurt, because our citizens are extremely patriotic (partly because of Russians' long association with nationalism and partly because of indoctrination from an early age).

It is legal to burn the flag of Kington Langley as a form of protest. However, out of respect to the international community, it is illegal to burn the flags of other nations.

This adequately describes our policy with burning foreign flags. Normally it's permitted, but may be temporarily barred as it may be offensive to other nations, or heads of state (cf. lese-majeste)

Officially, there are no laws regarding the burning of the flags of Saurisia and allied and friendly states in the act of protest but it's extremely looked down upon; even the burning of enemy nations' flags is forbidden. Saurisians regard burning any flag outside of getting rid of an old, tattered one to be utterly barbaric.

If it is not the Mackonian Flag it is celebrated...there is even a Flag-Burners guild who organise flag burnings against enemy nations, they are an extremely influential group in Mackonia.

Burning the Mackonian Flag? Like most things in Greater Mackonia it is not illegal per se but is a quick way to get a contract put on your head.

Though not codified in law, Usians are generally allowed to burn flags, as well as to assault people who are burning flags. Flag burning is one of the many festering controversies We encourage in order to keep Our peasants citizens angry at something other than the fact We control nearly every significant aspect of their lives. Recently there have been violent debates over proposed laws and regulations allowing Usians to burn any flag any politician has wrapped him or herself in.

It is legal to burn the Eight-Pointed Star, so long as the flames remain in a containable condition.

Accusing or bringing shame to the flag is seen as freedom of speech. However, harming or defacing a flag is treated as treason.

It is illegal to burn our flag due to us being fascist. It is legal to burn the flag of Pey since they are not an ally.
