An obese individual would find disapproval in Brellach; such reckless disregard for one's health is insulting to the Brellachi.

It's certainly a thing in urban areas, but on the whole it isn't so common that it's a genuine concern. Between the constitutional right to the ability to live off the land (to the point that apartment blocks have to come with allotments, and all back gardens are required to be built with or retrofitted with greenhouses), supermarkets selling mainly ingredients rather than ready-made meals and snacks, and the heavy stigma around car dependency means that the diet is good and people are willing to at least walk or cycle to a bus/train/tram stop if need be. Oh and we are quite a hilly country. That'll burn a lot of calories.

However, obesity is slowly rising among the younger generation due to increasingly sedentary lifestyles and the westernisation of the nation in modern times.

Well now I’m 177th of 199 in my region and 200,000 somthing in the world of like 290,000 other people.

Obesity is uncommon in SimTropican roughly around 3-4% for Obesity and 8-12% for being overweight. This is due to both a healthy and active culture and the diet. Being healthy and active is a big part of the culture, with a lot of outdoor activity being common. Being healthy and thus slim is the norm while obesity is seen as an illness to overcome. Generally obese people are treated with mercy but there are those who look down on Obese as lacking self control. Since outdoor activity is common in the culture there are numerous parks, and forests. The Royal Family owns a good number of them, freely opening them to the public and hosting many regular events.


Because of the culture the adverage diet is pretty healthy with the most common foods being red meats, fish, grains and green veggies. Most of the produce is locally grown and is organic and having home gardens is fairly common. While Fast food is present in SimTropican, generally it's overlooked to healthier options, many fast food changes to gain buisnesses changed their menus to healthier options because of this.

Obesity in Ravemath is an issue, but it isn't prevalent. The obesity rate in Ravemath is 10%, many of which are elderly. Ravemathians love their bikes, which is their main form of exercise.

Obesity and all of its related health issues are virtually non-existent in the Reich. Each child by the time they are 6 years old, train to be future soldiers and guardians of the Nachfolgian people. As such, each must under go intensive physical fitness training, getting progressively harder as they get older. Sports, boxing, martial arts, weightlifting, running, obstacle courses, ect, are all within the scope of Nachfolgian physical fitness training.


It is worth noting that Nachfolgians do not measure body fat. Their standards of measurements include a yearly fitness test followed by a thorough measurement of a person's body to determine there overall health. It is not the height and weight standard that most countries use.

Empirians also have a uncannily fast metabolism which leaves most of our residents practically immune to obesity.
