Greetings, Nations of the Multiverse!

It has been decided, that after centuries upon centuries of regional isolation, that the Avatarian Republics of Gyatso-kai wish to broaden our scope of the multiverse and thus establish an embassy program. I invite any and all nations and governments within our great multiverse to apply for an embassy in our esteemed capital city of Republic City with the goal of increasing not only our diplomatic relations, but also our understanding of the unfathomable cultures that make up this multiverse.

We have designated various sections of Republic City to house these international embassies. Currently, there are three specific sections available for construction of embassies; the Yuanshan and Sihetun areas of the Wanyang District, as well as the Huomaqiao Area of the Tongzhou District.

We look forward to the opening of relations and many prosperous multiverse cultural exchanges.

Areas in the Wanyang District

Name: Yuanshan ( 遠山 / 远山 , Yuǎnshān

The Yuanshan area, named for its distance from the Tianshan mountains which overshadow the northern areas of Republic City, is extremely vibrant. Four massive buildings -- the Fullspark Tower, Republic Plaza, Gyatso-kai Tower and Duo Tower -- sit along the southwestern part of the area, as well as a plethora of residential high-rises in the northwest.

The central part of Yuanshan is a pair of polar opposites. On the northern area you have the Daiyue Temple, one of the oldest Temples in Republic City; while the southern area is full of modern high-rises and several modern amenities; KTV shops, restaurants, and a neo-modern decor which stands out amongst other more-conservative areas in the nation's capital.

Name: Sihetun ( 四河屯 , Sìhétún)

Sihetun is an area of the Wanyang District containing many popular bar streets and international stores.

The area has been under almost constant regeneration since the late 20th century as part of a city-wide project of economic regrowth. It currently houses many bars and clubs popular with both expatriates and locals. In recent years, the Sihetun Village shopping mall has become a popular destination for both expatriates and young Avatarians alike.

Home to many of the regional embassies, Sihetun's name is literally a description of its location. It is four rivers away from the Xizhimen Gate; the outermost wall that surrounds Republic City. Chosen as the home to foreign legations and embassies in the late 1960's, Sihetun began to grow when, along with various economic reforms would see regional immigrants flock to the area for work, bars serving expatriats and local began to appear as a way to entertain those who returned to the region looking for work.

Areas in the Tongzhou District

Name: Huomaqiao (火马桥, Huǒmǎqiáo)

Located on the eastern half of the Tongzhou District inside of the 3rd Ring Road, Huomaqiao is known for its many tourist attractions; as a result, much of Huomaqiao's economy is in the service sector. Home to some of the most prestigious hotels in the Avatarian Republics, Huomaqiao is also home to many shopping malls; from the Malls at Republic Plaza to the Wanjinjing pedestrian mall, the area is a big draw for domestic tourists who wish to expand their shopping resumes.
