In Gingeska snus is legal, and produced domestically.
About 40% of the tobacco using population uses snus on a regular basis (Compared to ~53% for cigarettes)
The government encourages snus use by taxing it far less than other tobacco products. Snus is preferred due to much lower rates of cancer and other disease than cigarettes or other tobacco products.

"Dip" or chew tobacco on the other hand is very rare and illegal in most voivodships.

Olweans tend to be pretty non-judgmental, so it's technically socially acceptable... but it's not exactly the most socially acceptable thing you could be doing.
