The GSD (General Security Directorate) is the main intelligence agency of the Seglandic Republic, collecting data on foreign nations and stealing important intel. Domestically, the GSD keeps tabs on Seglandic citizens and eliminates enemies at home.

It's powers are expansive. It can indefinitely detain people without reason, spy, use biometrics and personal informations, wire tap, track phone calls, messages,and physical location, uses mass databases, and more.

There is also a military branch that doubles as a foreign Intelligence Agency. The branch is Special Operations, and includes gathering intel, espionage, stealing critical information about others, sabotage, and more.

And the Intelligence and Information Team a top secret group of specialy selected men who preform "Black Ops" operations and information gathering.

Unlike most nations who rely on spies and "black operations". Sunlandic and the entire region of Greater Ismael have adopted a policy of total transparency wherever possible.

For this reason, all information we gather, or produce is strictly available to the public for access at any time. The sole exceptions to this occur in wartime, in which case vital elements like battle plans, call signs and general strategic information is classified.

The IDA, being a military organization, is far more effective as an intelligence agency. Most nations usually trade captured spies to free their own and so the cycle continues. The IDA does not spy in the traditional sense and so we execute any traitors found in our midsts.

Make no mistake, the IDA still performs orbital/naval reconnaissance, personnel inspection and electronic interception. However we do not send spies of our own into other countries to gather Intel. We believe this to be an unreliable and often dangerous method of gathering information (information can be leaked both ways in such a system).

Fortunately since all our records are public (except in wartime), there are few reasons, if any, to spy on us.

The National Defense Agency is the name of the USK intelligence agency. We send in spies across the nation to monitor activities and since the election of a Supreme Judge who is militaristic, plans are being send in to start spying on citizens. Its main objective is to counter any threat to the nation domestically and internationally.

The Turmenistan Department of Defense has a subunit called The Turmenistan Department of Intelligence, which deals with Intelligence situations on Turmenistan Soil and Turmenistan-controlled Afghanistan. Basically we're the nationwide FBI. All 4 of the islands have their own Intelligence agencies but the TDI is the biggest and nationwide.

The Central Intelligence Agency is the geopolitical intelligence agency, operating within the governments of foreign nations to influence and manipulate other nations, and when necessary replace the leadership with something more cooperative.

The office of military intelligence gathers intel on military matters, from threats to targets, and also tends to receive a high amount of discretion during their operations.

The State Intelligence Department are mostly active in the United States and Europe, but there are also several activities in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Most of the SID archives remains classified.

The State Intelligence Department is the world's most effective information-gathering organization. It operates legal and illegal espionage residencies in target countries where a legal resident gathered intelligence while based at the Zhouranese Embassy or Consulate, and, if caught, is protected from prosecution by diplomatic immunity.

The SID is active in combating "ideological subversion"—anti-socialist political and religious ideas and the dissidents who promoted them, which is generally dealt with as a matter of national security in discouraging influence of hostile foreign powers.
