1494mm is the stat against KE weapons, not factoring in armor slope. 1655mm is against CE weapons like HEAT, and 1425mm is actual material thickness.

That was pretty much the point. It's completely modern armor that protects against almost all currently existing guns and ammo. It was never meant to be armored to true :NS: status, because that would infringe on its fantastic tactical mobility.

That's what my T-10 is for.

Obsolete 105mm M833 APFSDS would be able to penetrate with no problem. ~450-550mm of penetration at 1000m.

And that round is almost 30 years old, IIRC.
