Paramour APC Improvement Candidate 1 is finally almost coloured. I've also adjusted the suspension height and redesigned the Autonomous Intercept System mount since the original WIP.

The hell do they think they need a new tank for against the exact same thing their thousands of existing tanks were literally built to fight?
Has the MIC finally reached Ee-rupe?

So instead I use K2 because it's faster and more nimble and comes in forest camo for a forested island nation. Yush.

Remember, these rounds were made in the UK, stored poorly in Germany, shipped to Canada, and stored poorly again, over the course of 50+ years. And HESH was still working in A'Stan just fine.

can't find it, but a dtic article on ammunition poorly stored in Germany and using the the Gulf revealed that propellant pressures were low, and thus the ammunition would undershoot the target. Significant at long ranges.

Though if it's news you're looking for, there's a Vietnamese outlet I was browsing the other day that mentioned the Russians were trying to prepare a pre-production Armata for display during the Victory Day parade this year.Imperial Factbook | Diplomatic Communications Channel | A Collection of Essays

Weight: 42 tonnes
Length: 7.77 meters hull only, 9.78 meters overall
Width: 3.2 meters
Height: 3.09 meters to top of cupola
Crew: 5 (driver, commander, gunner, and two loaders)
Armor: protected against 15mm fire and 152mm shell fragments
Top speed: 60 km/h (road)
Main armament: 152mm, 48-caliber gun-howitzer
Rate of fire: 2 rounds per minute (sustained bombardment), 6 rounds per minute (brief bombardment), 3 rounds in 12 seconds (rapid bombardment)
Maximum range: 28 km (standard HE), 39 km (base-bleed shells), 54 km (rocket-assisted projectiles)
Secondary armament: 7.62mm GPMG (cupola-mounted)
The "93-Gen" is a self-propelled 152mm gun-howitzer, intended as a successor to the earlier SBP-152 66-Gen. Like its predecessor, the 93-Gen is based on the Shagtong-Hu universal heavy chassis, though in this case it is the ShTH-B variant with an improved 700-kilowatt engine. The design process began in 1993 with a State requirement for a vehicle offering a longer-ranged and more accurate main armament, as well as better protection against counter-battery fire. The vehicle entered service in 2001, and has replaced the 66-Gen in most but not all units.
The main armament consists of a 48-caliber gun, capable of firing existing 152mm ammunition or specialized base-bleed and rocket-assisted projectiles. The longer gun, paired with a more advanced fire-control system, allow considerably greater accuracy than the preceding 66-Gen. This is supplemented by compatibility with 152mm laser-guided munitions, which can be used to minimize collateral damage in urban bombardment or engage enemy armor. In order to improve effectiveness in counter-battery bombardments, the 93-Gen is able to fire a burst of three rounds in 12 seconds. By adjusting the charge size and trajectory between shots, it can also ensure that all three shots land on target at approximately the same time. This also allows the 93-Gen to complete its firing missions more quickly, then relocate to a new position before the enemy can deliver counter-battery fire of their own.
