Actually it's something I got from this thread. Someone here said that using an autoloader each round takes up 1/3 more space. I can't find the quote right now.
Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

IIRC Meggitt stores ~34-36 rounds within the existing space of the Abrams turret. Certain designs may be less volumetrically efficient. I suspect the Soviet carousels sit in this camp.

You might need to clean this up, but it looks good.

I designed my SU-152P to have Schurzen-type armor on the sides of the superstructure to help defeat most common RPG rounds. They are somewhat thicker, though, at 25mm.

I'd like to say I use the Merkava 4 but it's too heavy for our transport planes and it only comes in tan. Dang it Israel, you have to be a desert.

So instead I use K2 because it's faster and more nimble and comes in forest camo for a forested island nation. Yush.
