There's your starting tool right there.

That out of the way, how good, performance-wise was the EE-T1/2 Osório? Was it cancelled purely because of the political/economic environment or were there issues with the tank's performance itself?

EDIT: T-43 for page 43

Yeah, it's point wasn't to do the work of all the previous types of tanks, but just to have a rounded turret.

I don't know why you need to point out the flat turret every time I post it here.

In other news. Changed the lower part of the front turret to make more room to traverse, as well as making the ERA on the front of the hull and turret covered like the rest, not individual bricks.

It's quite heavy and slow for its time, I suppose? And its ammunition is pretty particular to the vehicle - you'll need a pretty hefty logistics investment to use the tank, I suppose. Otherwise, it's well armoured and armed with a faulty upscaled drivetrain that'll need to be looked at, but you seem to have that under control.

Actually the chieftan was pretty speedy off road particularly compared to the Leo 1 thanks to its very nice suspension. Or at least it was went it wasn't spewing bits of engine or transmission and fluids all over the road...

Well for macs the obvious answer is something from Adobe but if gimp is troublesome I can't imagine photoshop/illustrator being any easier. Another option would be flash but I know bugger all about it.
To be honest if you can get your head around gimp if with the many guides available for it then you would probably be best sticking to paint brush until you get your head around some of the concepts the more fully featured imaging programs use.

It is basically less capable than any NATO MBT (minus the Ariete maybe). No reason to buy it unless you cannot secure orders from the U.S., Britain, France, or Germany. Combined with Arab purchases of American tanks and the fall of the Berlin Wall freeing up Leopard 2's, it just didn't make sense to buy from Brazil.

Not quite what I was looking for :P

I probably should've specified this earlier, but I chose the EE-T1 because I want to create my own tank but want a RL MBT as a starting point, and I'd rather not go with a generic Western tank. Of course, I'd modernize it and fix any shortcomings.

If it's still a big no, I might try using the Altay or MBT-3000 as starting points instead.

As is the barrel on the Challenger 2 above.

For the most part, unless you're expecting to fire the ruddy thing, you keep it plugged and wrapped up.

Then again, I imagine if you forgot to manually unplug it, it would do so for you when you fired it.

For a considerable number of reasons, I highly doubt a tank crew would every find themselves in such a position.

Would it not be like those rifle plugs that are strong enough to keep all the dirt and shit out, but will allow the weapon to be fired without any issues?
