I doubt the FT-17 was zipping around the battlefield.

Fuck it I like how the tracks look so it will stay like that. It will just use one of the long metal sticks that connects to the engine at the back.

Oh my god let me sex it.

I don't get the drive wheel though. It is like the early Soviet tanks with the teeth on the inside of the track instead of on the wheel?

Any technical advice or critiques of this bad larry?

http://iiwiki.com/wiki/Panther_1

Silverfield did almost all of the work with it and I've got to hand it to him for meeting every request I had. 120mm smoothbore gun, 250mm multilayer armor [Not including applique stuff] and about 75 tons. Wiki page has got all the details. Thoughts?

Well, I think they stopped doing that pretty quickly as there's only so much force you can put on the teeth before you're wasting power. That's why it only worked with very light tanks.

To be fair having a drive wheel with teeth that fits the tracks while the tracks connect at both ends is by far the worst thing about drawing tanks unless they're symmetrical horizontally and vertically.

That's why I hide imperfections with fenders

That might be one thing that is relatively easy when you do a 3D model. I often use the same tracks over and over, and fit the wheels in later. Then I just edit the individual track. As it is a component, all the track parts will change with one edit.

But for my Stahnese tracked vehicles I use very short links that are very easy to fit together.

Sometimes I cheat as well. There is a reason for those things on top of the tracks of this Kaled tank:

Image

You guessed it; I couldn't get these new tracks to fit. But now no one will ever know.

EDIT: Often my tracks don't need to connect at all because they are only exposed at the bottom.
