In 1836 was the overthrow of the native Salisaro Empire's government, the empire had been seeing much instability since the late 1700s, and there was too much of a struggle between different groups for the position of power, and many states formed from it, through the late 1830s states broke off and were in disarray. In the 1840s some were grouped together by the Union of Zeganasian Republics as Mlen, Yeran, Ohinata, and Helenoneskia, all of the new republics were admitted into the union in 1848.

Meggan wasn't far behind, in 1849, it declared independence from Spain and joined the Union, there was a 2 year war afterwards but it retained it, that lead to a war that lasted for another 17 years with Spain, eventually the entire continent of Zeganas was conquered in 1866 and was renamed from the Union of Zeganasian Republics to the United Republics of Zeganas or just Zeganas. The nation rose to glory soon afterwards but saw a massive tragedy by the 1910s...

1774: The 13 Original Colonies win independence
1789: The Articles of Confederation fail, and the original colonies split into their own nations. Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey merge into the United States.
1790: Great Britain takes Maine and Massachusetts. War is declared.
1794: A peace treaty between Great Britain and the newly independent nations is enacted. Great Britain stopped attempting to recapture the colonies. They give Massachusetts back, but Maine is now part of British North America.
1800: Slavery is abolished in the northern nations.
1827: New York Republic begins to ignore the needs of its citizens not in New York City, causing unrest.
1830: New York Republic becomes the New York Empire as it expands its territory into New England and New Jersey. New England declares war.
1830: Upstate citizens begin to rise up against the New York Empire, with the help of the Iroquois.
1831: The rebels receive independence from the New York Empire. The Republic of Niagara, the Genesee River Republic, the Adirondack Republic, and the Neo-Iroquois Confederacy is born.
1832: The New York Empire declares war on the new nations in an attempt to win them back.
1836: The New York Empire now has New Jersey and New England.
1838: The Southern nations form the Confederate States.
1840: Genesee River, Adirondack, Niagara, and the Neo-Iroquois invade New York City and end the War of New York Aggression. The Second Industrial Revolution begins.
1841: Genesee River, Niagara, and Adirondacks refuse the offer to help the United States in the Union-Confederate war.
1842: Niagara begins to provide troops for the Union.
1845: The Union-Confederate War ends with a Union Victory.
1852: Women's Suffrage is passed.
1853: Genesee River sets up colonies in the Thousand Islands.
1854: Genesee River, Canada, and the Neo-Iroquois get into a conflict about the Thousand Islands. The conflict is settled with an agreement to keep the islands within their jurisdiction. Genesee River gets West, Canada gets North, and Neo-Iroquois gets Southeast.
1855: Regulations are put in place to protect workers from corporate corruption. For example, safety regulations and minimum wage laws.
1859: Anti-trust laws are put in place. The concept of Business Incubation begins when the Batavia Industrial Center opens in Batavia, one of Genesee River's cities.

Wardie land began 1820 still rebuilding eastern part of the North Colonies following the First Snow War of 1818 against the Snowlandian Empire, by this point the Empire of Wardie land was very large, however disease was common, as was child labour, the fruits of the industrial revolution were continue to profit Wardie land's industry and wealth, the 1820s-1860s was a period of steady expansion of the empire, and improvement of the infrastructure of the colonies. It also saw a move from the older wooden sailing ships to steam ships in the Royal Imperial Wardie land Navy.

During the 1850s caplock muskets such as the Pattern 1853 Enfield largely replaced the old flintlocks. In late 1860 Wardie land celebrated the secession of 7 southern states from Washington, which would form the Confederate States of America in February 1861, a government Wardie land would keenly support because Wardie land believe in the Confederate political ideology and goals. The result would be Wardie land's entrance into the US Civil War, as the Union declares war in response to Wardie land recognising the CSA as a legitimate government, the result of which was a Confederate victory, as the Union was forced to move soldiers away from the main fight to deal with Wardie land, effectively weakening the Union and allowing the Confederacy to maintain the offensive, this would also make the CSA one of Wardie land's best allies.

During those years, the Republic of Tolmakia did not exist then. However, many Tolmakians were already fighting for the British in places all over the world.

The Cattish Confederacy was only a dream by then. The Yellenic League, the Yamato Kingdom and the Inuetian Republic still existed. These 3 states merged in 1867, giving birth to the Confederacy.

Back in 1820, this island was controlled by the old Uruguay. It was not until 1990 that the Glorious Republic of Uruguay was formed.

Aexalla did not exist in its current form until 1882. However, before that time a colony controlled by the Netherlands known as Nederzet did. That colony is what eventually became modern-day Aexalla.

1821 - Inspired by French Revolution, 30,000 children armed with early-machine guns, with help of the Canarians, drove out the Spanish government.
1823- First elections for both presidential and parliamentary, Radicals win against the Constitutionalists. The first president is the revolutionary Marco Bautista.
1831 - Spanish invade the island to retake it. Defeated right after we used British naval plans.
1837 - Marco Bautista declares Gran Canaria capital and creates the Educational Institute of Kidnadia-Canaria.
1843 - Second election. Radicals marginally win against the Constitutionalists. Constitutionalist Juan Sanchez de San Jose wins
1849 - De San Jose, reforms the government to be halved between executive and legislative powers, creating the first semi-presidential.
1853 - Marco Bautista, as Minister of War reforms and renews the military to have heavier machines
1857- Kidnadia-Canaria restarts diplomacy with Spain

We haven't gained our independence from the Dutch back then. The civilians, mostly armed with ancient muskets, krises (our traditional weapon), and swords fought the Dutch in numerous battles between 1800 - 1922.

1820-1860 is generally remembered as a period of decline in the history of Themiclesia. Due to our former indecision to pursue colonial gain in the more underdeveloped regions of New Odessa, we were unable to capitalize on colonial ventures as much as neighbouring New Tyran or Chedestan.

The Wizarding World was not yet unified at this point in time... Athan wasn't founded until 2023, and didn't change over to Olwe until 2480. So the magical communities of different countries each have their own histories, which we don't even count as Olwean history because we didn't exist yet.

Nothing much happened in this time period. But the real change from then and now is that in that time period, Byzanthia was still an empire, and today it is a Federal Republic. But one year after this, in 1861, Emperor Charles II of Byzanthia was assassinated.

Back then there was just Chimake union. All Oceania was explored by the end of 1820's. Many travellers sailed to Asia, America, Europe to see the world and bring back some people to the paradise the little different empires were creating. However, the islands were only unified to one nation, called Chimake (distant place), in late 19th century, fully established with another name (in Nakoda language - Moute Utwe) as late as 1907.
