Monarchy or Republic?

Yesterday, a poll in the E-Burg owned newspaper the Alexanda Times reported that 60% of Alexanda's population would favour a referendum to decide wherever Alexanda should keep its status as a Constitutional Monarchy or convert to a Republic, therefore removing the Royal Alexander Family out of power. Whilst this poll clearly states that not all of those who voted want to remove the Monarchy, the government had decided to hold an international vote to decide wherever the Alexanders' remain the reigning head of states or if a Republic is appointed to reign over Alexanda.

Monarchy: Under a Monarchy, Alexanda would remain under the control of the Alexander Family, but will carry on its democratic values of voting a President into power every four years.

Republic: The Alexander Family will be removed from power, and elections will be held to to determine who will rule over the Kingdom of Alexanda.

The government launched an national survey yesterday, in which 99% of Alexanda's population participated. The result is clear: 93% of the population support Constitutional Monarchy and 7% the removal of the Monarchy altogether.
