You are kidding right? You need to spend at least a page on the sensors alone. Remember, we are talking about FT powered armor. This means you have to have an integrated communications and IFF system as well as optical systems (both real and false color), lights and compensators for the lack of proper hearing due to having a helmet on. Seriously, there is a ton of things to talk about.

Do you even FT?

Because I do intend to eventually branch Purpelia out into FT. Just not this moment. I am building up toward it.
And besides, I do not RP with other people on NS at all. I only build Purpelia and design stuff for it. It's sort of a style of RPing where you only ever RP with your self.

I mean I myself am just going to do a couple paragraphs at most describing the specific exoskeleton used in armor.

Well it's not really that important in MT either. At least I think it is not. I mean, if I was to RP with someone and he started to explain how the chemical composition of the explosives in his MT mortar round made for a 5% better effect against my troops I would be all "WTF man?!"
In fact, my MT rifle, well PMT rifle actually has very little in terms of text attached to it.
It's all here by the way.
Maybe some people do statwank and stuff. But I just want the thing to be cool. And being cool in a FT context means having loads of features that seem logical in hindsight but no one has yet thought off. And I have loads of those...I mean I myself am just going to do a couple paragraphs at most describing the specific exoskeleton used in armor.
Honestly I think I am mostly going to skip that part. When it comes to the way the thing moves we know that there is really no reason to explain much. It moves because of something something attached to a battery that lasts for something something. And armor protection is best defined in vague terms that carry setting generic data.

Exactly. Something-something-something FT magic=technology. What matters is how protected it is and how many gimmicks it has.
This said, how are you defining your protective levels? I was thinking of using a generic term system. Basically I'd use real world equivalents like "full powered rifle" and "handgun" to refer to setting specific equivalents.

Same thing today, just upscaled because behind all the story and plot, my automatic rifles have the KE of a 50 BMG.
Won't really matter in RP, but story wise and lore wise, sure why not.

I miss FT. I used to RP a FT nation back on another forum. With 15km long starships and all that.
