I don't know about that, if you're quick enough to someone with cardiac arrest, they may have clinically died for a minute. Then you blast 'em with voltage to revive 'em. Then they can die twice.

My general infantry use medium velocity 6mm rounds. Those same rounds can be fired from a pistol.
My snipers and my machine gunners use high velocity 7mm.

Wait, you're main rifle fires a pistol cartridge?

It's really not that hard to do. The 5.7mm Johnson or .22 APG could both potentially fit into a rechambered Automag, and even the 5.7x28mm could serve as a viable carbine round if loaded to rifle pressures and a lead cored projectile, and we all know it will fit into a pistol.

I wouldn't call it an ideal solution - there are probably more negatives than positives - but it's still a viable solution for a given setting. The way it's employed here isn't a bad way to do so.

To be serious, no. .22, while it has great terminal ballistics, sucks at penetrating armor. Which your enemy will probably be wearing.
