I've read the convo, but I don't see why what I said is not relevant.

Rather than try to figure out how to airdrop MBTs - which by the way is not possible to accomplish in a meaningful way into combat, even if you managed a low-altitude drop you'd need to drop the crew separately - why does nobody point out reasonable airdroppable vehicles?

If you're actively engaged in a war that involves massed air drop attacks, generally hostile forces would be concentrated around were your forces are concentrated, or thats what I would assume, so having a tank regiment open up a new area of engagement a thousand km away is probably not going to meet significant resistance if its in an area where little or no combat is expected

If you have a hundred aircraft, available to move in one lift, willing to expend them and their cargo to air defences.

Not to pick the tank scab, but I was thinking about this for future reference, is there any APS that can be mounted on a tank or armored vehicle that could reasonably be expected to stop an AGM-65 or Kh-25 style missile?
(i.e. a 300lb+ warhead moving over 1,000km/h)
