Overall, using nukes like there's not any actual damage to them but statistical is pretty stupid, and if you use them, it's pretty cowardly.

That's a stupid way of starting a nuclear war. It is silly.]

You are suggesting using a nuclear weapon in another nation's capital.

If someone launched a nuclear weapon into Allanea's capital, I guarantee you that I would in fact retaliate with nuclear strikes against your nation.

Seeing as the two tans have never fought each other I will not say that either is better, and untill then I will consider them equals, as considering their armor thickness is classified, they havecthe same gun, and both serve the same purpose untill you can show me an instance where a leopard has beaten an Abrams in combat irl then I am not continuing that argument, as both tanks have only really seen combat against T55s, T62s and maybe T72s

Plus, how would you like it if I used depleted uranium tank rounds to destroy your puny lil' tanks? You gonna overreact and use nukes?

First of all, I would be using them because you had nuked a structure of high importance, second my nukes are in uninhabited areas any way so fallout wouldn't matter, third my "puny" tanks happen to be M1A2 Abrams, and I would simply return the favour with DU and HEAT rounds, third you would be attacking a company composed of Lithuanian citizens, which is very much an actionable atrocity when the company has done nothing hut sell it's wares outside of your nation, and plus you would be the only nation to make it illegal, thus making it legal anywhere else, meaning you would AGAIN have no right to bomb a building owned by that company since it would be outside of your borders

-sigh-
Okay, these little bouts of "I GOT U" and "NO U DIDN" are fun and all, but can we keep this to like a once a month thing? This is irritating.

Anyways, to promote a different discussion ... If my nation has a 1.5 year mandatory male conscription policy, at what rate should conscripts rank up, if at all? I plan on there being a voluntary and conscript force; the volunteers being better equipped and a smaller more maneuverable unit, while conscripts form the larger part of my forces. I do expect commissioned volunteers to lead the conscripts as well as the volunteer force. I would think that the COs get their feet wet while leading conscripts and then are transferred over to command more trained units when they've got some experience.

As far as being an enlisted conscript goes, should they be able to be team leaders towards the end of the conscription?

I think that one pictured might be this one here.

Though I've seen that picture in several places in the past.

The fact that it's been considered for aircraft without radical new propulsion systems makes that unlikely.

I'd get it confirmed that that indeed is the source in question, before you spend money though. As I'll admit I'm not 100% sure myself that it is. :)

Though I've seen that picture in several places in the past.

It may be featured in that book, but I took that picture in a copy of Medical Implications of Nuclear War, published 1986 by the National Research Council.
Due to the nature of Medical Implications, it's likely that images within it are reproduced in or from other works.

Vault 10, or Vault X as he's sometimes known, recommended that book to me a couple years ago as a good all-purpose primer.
It's very interesting and covers just about every topic you could wish for, apart from nuclear forces themselves explicitly.

I'm looking around for new strike/bomber aircraft and I've got a couple candidates that I'd like some thoughts on:

Su-34?
Xian JH-7?

Padnak has very close relations with both China and Russia so acquisition wouldn't be the problem, I'm just wondering what people think of the two aircraft and which would be better?

I'm looking for a long range strike aircraft capable of carrying a wide range of weapons, including AShMs
