Fallout is nowhere near that horrible.

Literally thousands of nukes have been detonated around the world in the past 60 years and you are not dying of cancer.

Well, statistically he probably will be, but not because of nuclear detonations.

Doesn't NK have Buks?

Also, IC'ly, I'm thinking of Black Eagles for evaluation. How good are they compared to the T-80U upgrade I have, and, if they are much better, is there anyway I can upgrade my T-80's to the standard (like replacing the turret or something)?

Copying. The PRC has invented nothing original ever.

Su-30MKK is just another version of -MKI, with degraded electronics.

I don't think the issue is that of weight.

I think the implication is that because of its low weight, you can cram many onto a single hardpoint (with suitable adapter) because it's obviously rated for a significantly heavier load.

Wiki claims that a common load for the J-16 is eight PL-12s and four PL-9 missiles. The PL-9 weighs 250 pounds, and the PL-12 weighs 400. Minus the weight of adapters (and in terms of weight alone) you could probably fit three bombs to each hardpoint.

I'm (not so?) obviously referring to the small physical size of such bombs, letting aircraft carry significantly more ordnance on the same pylon without interfering with other stores or the fuselage.

It's also six bombs on every hardpoint that is carrying them, clearly. About 45 turbofirecrackers.

That's about comparable to what you can hoist on an F-15C with Mk 81s, the Western equivalent, but the F-15C doesn't have as many hardpoints and I'm sure you'd run into problems with the conformal carriage or CFTs and the wing pylons or something.

Wrong.

Fallout is nowhere near that horrible.

Literally thousands of nukes have been detonated around the world in the past 60 years and you are not dying of cancer.

You're not sitting inside the severe fallout zone that radiates a lethal dose in less than 5 hours. Also, the majority of nuclear detonations were conducted as far away from populated areas as possible to avoid fallout exposure and deaths. Hiroshima and Nagasaki both demonstrate the extremely lethal effects of radioactive fallout from even tactical nuclear weapons.

Drag and weight are the biggest issues when you start loading up bombs like that. Sure they might not weigh much individually, but then the ejector racks for bombs the Mud Hen carries weigh about 200 pounds. With 900 lbs of bombs loaded onto those, plus drag, you're looking at a lot of force being exerted on the aircraft. It'll also generate more drag then when the gear are down, which makes flying a fully laden strike aircraft a little awkward at best.

The F-15A/B/C/D is air-to-air only, you're thinking of the F-15E. The CFTs have bomb racks on them, plus they make some special bomb racks that attach to the pylons.
