Apparently the Caspian Sea Monster could fit ~340 tons (though without fuel), but as far as I know that was just a prototype and I'm not sure how suitable it would have been in combat. I'll most likely settle for something like it though, but with Lun-esque missile launchers on it for shore bombardment before the landing; these will obviously weigh quite a lot so I'll settle for carrying one tank plus a load of infantry/some lighter vehicles. Does that sound somewhat feasible?

The Lun's missile launchers were for AShMs, but you could easily make something work

Isn't the benefit of ground effect a linear increase with the size of the ground effect vehicle? If you had the means you could reasonably build something much larger then even the Caspian sea monster. Like, transporting two tank companies large...

Edit*

I remember seeing someone with an ekranoplan style ground effect vehicle that moved entire motor rifle battalions

and it was of glory

So I'm in a AH WW2 RP were Japan is invading Australia and Manchukuo has tanks (After asking the OP of course) so I'm going to go for a small tank regiment or company. I am playing Manchukuo.

So, I'm going to copy the Imperial Japanese tank regiment and see if this is alright.

Using this.

Regiment HQ
One Type 89 I-Go's
Two Type 95 Ha-Go's.

First Company
Six Type-95 Ha-Go's.
Sixteen Type 89 I-Go's.

Second Company.
Six Type 95 Ha-Go's
Sixteen Type 89 I-Go's

Third Company
Six Type-95 Ha-Go's.
Sixteen Type 89 I-Go's.

Combat Train.
-Twenty Imperial Army Soldiers.
-Two officers.

The first way is to be kind.
The second way is to be kind.

Possibly MLRS launchers (such as used on the Zubr) might be superior for shore bombardment.

Found a couple of interesting videos... and possibly two more things to break Hollywood war film immersion.

Would creating military schools and filling them with orphaned and abandoned children be a good idea as a way to reduce child homelessness and increase the amount of loyal soldiers in my military? I'm thinking that given the amount of homeless and abandoned children in Padnak and my need for easily indoctrinated soldiers it would be the perfect way of going about things.

I have a lolhuge one. Doesn't carry a full Battalion though. But 3 Infantry Companies plus 7 or 800 tons of vehicles and cargo is still a respectable load. (Yes I know writeup says 6, but it's really outdated and I've been planning on revising it upwards for quite some time, although if I do it's likely to bulk out before hitting full weight capacity.

And that doesn't list all of my lol-variants. Lol-variants include: Rocket Launcher with hundreds of artillery rockets, Missile Launcher with over 100 VLS cells, Mobile Command Center, Hospital, Nuclear Power Station, Field Brothel, ABM/ASAT Laser platform, and a few more I can't think of off the top of my head.

It is of the strength

I tried looking for that lolhuge one I mentioned by I think the nation that fielded it no longer exists so I've turned up nothing :(. Yours is mighty impressive, but needs to be at least 1.5 times bigger for it to be of total strength

*EDIT*
I'd personally shrink the front windows down a bunch, small windshields increases coolness by at least 80%

Probably still ongoing. The Chinese unit mobilised is claimed, in Chinese non-state press, to be responsible for possible defence of DPRK in a western invasion.

1.) Refugees would be a pain in the ass to worry about.

2.) North Korea is so dirt poor that no one wants to have to deal with the inevitable reconstruction. That's why South Korea, despite official statements, will never reunite with the North. It will make German reunification look comparatively simple. China won't be able to fund reconstruction for it either.

3.) Even if they dispose of Kim Jong Un, no guarantee the next guy will be better.

4.) Even if the North Koreans just detonate their nukes within their own territory, the fallout won't be a good thing for anyone near them (including China).

Really, the best thing for everybody is the status quo. Well, everybody except the average North Korean.
LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. Fallout is nowhere near that horrible.

Literally thousands of nukes have been detonated around the world in the past 60 years and you are not dying of cancer.
