There are two Catholic churches serving the area around the embassy. Several blocks to the north lies Sankt Paul domkirke and half a kilometer to the northeast lies Sankt Jakob kirke, both of which are home to thriving communities that welcome members of the diplomatic corps and offer services both in Norwegian and in Latin. The entirety of the kingdom is considered a territorial prelate under the apostolic administration of Anders Wember, the Bishop of Sauda.

With the understanding that state business often demands action even on the sabbath, a chapel will be built in the embassy for those times when embassy staff members find it impossible to leave the embassy due to pressing business.

Minister of Education Annbjørg Halvorsen has recommended to me several schools that may be suitable for the ambassador's daughter Alyra. Both the Sauda International School as well as Sankt Pauls Skole are located approximately half a kilometer from the embassy site, and each offers a rigorous and balanced curriculum, with the former serving largely the various diplomatic missions in Sauda and the latter primarily serving the city's growing Catholic community. If the ambassador would like assistance in the application to either school, Minister Halvorsen would be happy to offer the assistance of a staff member.

Having spoken with the chair of the Department of International Relations at the University of Sauda, we happily accept your request for the establishment of an internship program for local students. We welcome the opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the field of international policy as well as in the cultural practices of other nations.

We welcome this embassy's establishment as a demonstration of the growing bond between our two nations.
