Emergency Services on the scene.
Chaos on the main road between Lukestown and Mallin. The road to cross the Karen Mountains is treacherous, but when an unsuspecting spell of black ice hit the roads, chaos ensues. A small truck carrying a tank full with Butane gas. It was travelling from a dispensary just outside of Mallin town and headed on its way to Lukestown across the Karen Mountains.
At around 01:45, on the 19th of May, 2014, that truck skidded off the road and over the edge of the road and into the shalley valley below. The tank on the truck was punctured in the crash, and the following explosion destroyed the truck instantly killing the driver inside. The shards of metal which were flung from the scene in the explosion littered the roads. The shards of metal punctured the tires of at least two more cars causing them to veer off the road. At 03:37 on the 20th of May, another driver came upon the scene and stopped. He immediately called the emergency services who showed up at 03:50.
The body of the gas truck driver was not recovered, but the drivers of the two cars were found, and one was still alive but in a critical condition. He was brought to Mallin General Hospital (shown above) but died shortly after. Those deceased were, Andrew Curtis, the 34 year old gas truck driver. Joanne Bakker, a 26 year old entrepreneur from Lukestown. Joanne owned a growing beauty and hair saloon. She used products which she created herself with ingredients from her father's cannabis farm. The third victim was Zach Vegner, 54 year old civil engineer. It is unknown what Zach was doing on the roads at the time.
The events will surely hit hard over the coming days in the small Community of Drakadia. With such a loss of a promising young business woman, upstanding father and worker, and a rehabilitated convict with promising outlook, it is hard not be saddened by the events.

This partnership will be the basis for a code-share program between the two Companies in order to increase the number of destinations served and make the process easier for the customer.

The Imperial mining facility known as 'Polis Massa' within the Rainbow System has gone dark. Until recently, system officials could not decipher why they had lost contact with the outpost, claiming that this system was too far into Imperial space to be attacked by both pirates and terrans alike. An unknown and sophisticatedly armed pirate group calling themselves "The Red Hood" established contact with enforcers who were on their way to the outpost, demanding that the enforcers turn back or face dire consequences, rambling on about 'the end days'. The enforcers, ignoring their warnings, docked with the outpost and were immediately captured by Red Hood pirates. The facility was quite once more until somehow the pirates hacked into the broadcast network of the entire sector, almost filming the execution of the enforcers before the network was cut.
Two hours later a squad of UltraCore commandos and a single detachment of Legio Mortis meatsacks were sent to pacify the pirates and rescue whatever hostages were there. We do not know exactly what it was they saw, but after the facility was cleaned out a fleet of imperial warships entered the system and destroyed the entire asteroid field before warping out again. The governor of the system is outraged by this, claiming that the asteroid field was one of the largest sources of tiberium crystals in the sector. The imperial government has yet to say anything about the event.
According to 'Der Kommandant', there were no surviving miners.

The Turo, in the Granda Landian capital of Nordaford, has been taken over by the Royal Army, an armed group that supports restoring the monarchy and placing Miguel of House Tereco on the throne. Independence Hall, the meeting place of the National Assembly, has been taken over as well. It is believed that President-General Angela Martin, Speaker of the Assembly and Vice President-General Ashley Harmero, and most of the members of the National Assembly are dead. Eric Santos, the leader of the Royal Army, was seen outside of Independence Hall ripping up the original copy of the Constitution of Granda Lando. The Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Mitchell Greenwood, who is now the President-General due to the death of Angela Martin and Ashley Harmero, is believed to be alive. It is unclear what he will do at this point.

Thousands of people have seen the procession but there were also workers demonstrations mainly from the Tourism sector demanding better pay and one month of payed holidays.
