GOVT BANS GROUPS & NEWS PORTAL
GUA DALAM,Ayermani:The Ayermani government today banned three groups and an online news portal known for their criticism of the government.
In a statement by the Ayermani Information and Communications Ministry,the banned groups are the Party for Progressive Reforms in Ayermani (PPRA),Movement for a New Democratic Ayermani (MANDA) and the Ayermanian Committee for a Clean,Accountable & Transparent Government (AYCAT) while the banned online news portal is the Free Ayermani Press (FAP).
Except for the PPRA,which is home based,MANDA,AYCAT and FAP are based in London,UK.
The Ministry said the groups and website are being banned because they have called for incitement to unlawful behavior and for people to take part in unauthorized gatherings.
“The home affairs ministry found the organisations' activities contravened the Societies Act 1966 and if left unchecked, the organisation could pose a threat to public order, peace, security and morality in Ayermani,”the statement said, adding that even the sovereignty of the country and prevailing racial harmony would be jeopardised.
“The PPRA,MANDA,AYCAT and FAP also tried to get the support of foreign countries to pressure the Government to bow to its demands,”the statement said, adding that all these had affected the country’s image.
Under the ban,it is illegal for Ayermanians to be in possesion,printing and spreading any materials by or for the groups in Ayermani.Those caught can be fined,jailed up to 25 years and publicly caned.
The sole Internet service provider in Ayermani have already begun enforcing the ban on the FAP.
The bans,said the Ministry were made at the request of the Home Affairs Ministry to the Justice Ministry-Attorney General's Office.
The banned groups had recently,through the FAP,published separate reports alleging corrupt practices of Ayermani president Musa Jamal Assan and his family.

AACC: Who says we only go after the 'small fish'?
GUA DALAM,Ayermani,Dec 7, 2014:Ayermani Anti-Corruption Commission (AACC) chief commissioner Pendekar Mustar says negative perception will negate the good work of the anti-graft body and
politicising the issue of corruption would only create a negative public perception.
He said the action (to politicise corruption) was a constraint in Ayermani improving its ranking on the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) by 2020.
“If we talk about constraints, perception is one of them. If the corruption issue is politicised, it will create a negative perception when we have actually been transparent in fighting corruption.
“But if the negative perception continues, especially against the agency which is earnestly fighting corruption, it will affect the good efforts being taken,” Pendekar told reporters after attending a forum in conjunction with World Anti-Corruption Day here today.
President Musa Jamal Assan recently called on all Ayermanians to fight corruption as the country was targeting to improve its ranking on the CPI.
Ayermani moved up three steps from 53rd spot last year to 50th this year on the CPI ranking, involving 175 countries, and is targeting to improve to 30th by 2020.
On the perception that AACC only took action against the small fry, Pendekar disagreed, saying it acted against all involved in corruption.
“AACC does not care and does not choose, be it 'anchovies' or 'sharks'. As long as it’s a ‘fish’, we will act against the culprit.”

Pendekar said the public should not be afraid to channel information on corrupt practices as the AACC assured confidentiality and safety protection for whistle-blowers.
Of late,the AACC has been the target of allegations that it was being selective in combating corruption.
When a reporter asked Pendekar on the corruption allegations against the president and whether the AACC was investigating these claims,the commissioner refused to comment and abruptly ended the interview with reporters.
It was learnt that the reporter who asked the question was later detained by plainclothes police officers and bought to the police headquarters for 'normal investigation procedures'.The reporter was released several hours later the same day.

AyWatch: Top cop's son jobless but rolling in cash!
GUA DALAM,Ayermani,Dec 7,2014 (Sun):Ayermanian crime watchdog AyWatch chairperson Jevan Maniam today questioned the extraordinary wealth of a 21-year-old son of a high-ranking police official.
Jevan claimed the unemployed man bought two luxury cars this year - a Ferrari 458 Italia and a Cadillac Escalade SUV, with a combined value of AY$2.3 million (about US$770,000).

The son's bank accounts, Jevan alleged, had transactions worth some AY$1 million (around US$330,000) in the last six months, up to April.
"He is the only son in the family. He is jobless, he has no genuine source of income, no passive income...
"The coincidence here is that he is linked to a firearms company,which in turn has links with his father," Jevan told reporters at a restaurant here.
He said AyWatch received a tip-off from an anonymous source, who also provided the bank account details of the police official's son for the last two years.
He added that the son,said to be a student in the UK, has no employment records.
THE TRUTH has withheld the names of the police official and his son pending an official response from them.
Jevan said that the police official's son was "a director" among 10 directors of a private limited arms company and received about AY$100,000 (US$33,000) a year in compensation for his position and had gotten married last year.
His father has been the top cop for some three years.
"Even if he worked 40 years in the force, his salary cannot afford all this," Jevan said, emphasising why the government needed to seriously look into this case.
Jevan said that he would furbish all the details in a report to the Ayermani Anti-Corruption Commission (AACC) next week.

Ayermani's top cop: My ‘rich’ son is not ‘jobless’
GUA DALAM,Ayermani,8 Dec 2014 (Monday):Ayermani's Inspector General of Police (IGP) Qaddo Arliun has dismissed insinuation of wrongdoings by his allegedly “jobless” son Jobbo.
Ayermani Crime Watch Task Force (AyWatch) chairman Jevan Maniam had earlier this week questioned Jobbo’s ownership of two luxury cars allegedly bought by cash when he was unempoyed.
But Qaddo speaking to reporters here said: “How can anyone say my son is jobless when he is a director in several companies and own several firms in Gua Dalam?”
Qaddo,however,refused to answer when asked if it was true that his son,Jobbo,21,was still studying in a university in the UK.
He did however said that his son had gotten married last year and that his daughter-in-law was a qualified lawyer.
“They are living at my house in the capital so they don’t have to worry about housing loans,” the IGP said.
He was clarifying claims by Jevan that Jobo although unemployed had bought two luxury cars earlier this year – a Ferrari 458 Italia and a Cadillac Escalade SUV.
The cars with a combined costs of AY$2.3 million (about US$770,000) was allegedly purchased with cash.
Without naming Jobbo,Jevan had reportedly questioned the source of the former’s “extraordinary wealth”.
“According to AyWatch investigation,he (Jobbo) has no employment records.
“We also have a banking transaction note to him from a weapons company in Ayermani,” he said.
AyWatch has urged Ayermani Anti Corruption Commission (AACC) to investigate the source of Jobbo’s income.
“I want a detailed investigation to be carried out immediately on the source of his funds and how he managed to acquire various assets at such a young age as he is unemployed.
“I will be lodging a report with AACC next week,” Jevan said.
But Qaddo dismissed Jevan's allegations.
He said to the best of his knowledge his son’s activities were above board and the two luxury cars in question were reconditioned vehicles and cheaper than new ones.

Minister defends son’s appointment as 'special officer'

has drew criticism after it was revealed that he had appointed his son, Mohamad Sidek (pic),

as his "special officer" although the ministry website does not specify his duties as such.
Junaid, when contacted, said Mohamad Sidek is not a gazetted officer, thus his salary is not paid by the government.
The minister said he appointed his son to help him reach out to the young voters in his constituency of Cebuga.
"I have 6,000 young, first time voters in my constituency so I asked Mohamad Sidek to help organise programmes and activities for them. These voters are apolitical, so I purely asked him to organise programmes for them because he is young as well. The funds for these programmes and activities comes out of my own pocket," Junaid told State news agency BENAR.
He stressed that Mohamad Sidek is not involved in any matter related to the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
"I have told him not to get involved in politics, his duty is just to engage with the young voters."
He also dismissed allegations of nepotism due to the appointment of his son,insisting that Mohamad Sidek will remain as his special officer.
Junaid said he is not bothered by the speculation over the listing of his son's name on the ministry's website.
"You must know, I'm a trained lawyer and I know what I am doing.
"He (Mohamad Sidek) shall remain a special officer to me.
"I don't care what people think. I don't care what bloggers, netizens, journalists write about me.
"Today I am a minister,I was elected by a bigger majority in my constituency, so what do they have to say?" quipped Junaid.
He added there is no need to appease anyone but himself.
" I don't please anybody but myself. If making him a special officer makes me happy then that's it.
"He (Mohamad Sidek) is happy working for his father," he said.
Junaid explained that as a minister, he has the prerogative to appoint his staff and dismissed suggestions that Mohamad Sidek would go into politics, adding that the only politician in the family is him.

With some shockwaves and explosion sounds, the abandoned urban zone was destroyed completely, resulting in the scenery above.
"This is a great success," said the director of the BI-92 project, "This fully proved the practicality of our new products, and the ability for them to be used on the battlefield, to crush the imperialist pig dog oppressors. The vehicles did well too, they are now a suitable mount for this new instrument of doom."

On the 11th of December a member of a gang known to carry guns was reportedly carrying a firearm around the streets. Police received an emergency call at around 1800. Specialist Firearms Command Unit operatives were requested to attend the call. When Police arrived on location they described a white male around 20 years of age later to be named as Jarvis Walters. They said he was pacing around the street and drew a firearm when they arrived. An operative took 2 shots hitting Mr. Walters twice in the head. Man arrested after playing Nazi anthem in train station
On Wednesday 17 December, a 31-year-old man, Ronaldo Pereira, walked into the train station in Cidade da Brasília, carrying a portable stereo. Then, he made his way to the lounge area, where a lot of people were gathered waiting for their train. According to security camera video, Pereira set the stereo on the floor, reached into his bag, and removed a CD. He loaded the CD into the stereo, and to the horror of everyone, the Nazi anthem Horst-Wessel-Lied began to play. Promptly, 3 undercover police officers arrested Pereira and seized his stereo. On the CD, police found several more anti-communist songs. It is not clear how Pereira obtained the CD, but it it is likely that the CD was smuggled into the country. Pereira was charged with possession of anti-communist propaganda, and conspiracy to commit treason. His trial will be held on Friday 19 December.

December 17, 2014 at 7:00 PM (Wednesday). A shipment weighing 20 tonnes that was to be ferried by the Tolmakian Air Force to the Tolmakian Agency of Aeronautics and Space (TAAS) headquarters in the Promiya Land of Tolmakia (PLOT) was cancelled after a bomb went off near the area that killed 12 Pejitean soldiers, and wreaked heavy damage on a nearby Tolmakian outpost. The Danasred have once again spoken up, claiming the incident as their responsibility.

The 20-tonne shipment was loaded within a Tolmakian Air Force C-17 Globemaster, and was ready for deployment when the journey was suddenly canceled. The Tolmakian Air Command in charge of overseeing the flight procedures was contacted by the TAAS Administration. Ilonia Warton, a TAAS employee gave the message to cease the flight after news of a bombing occurring near the TAAS PLOT Facility was relayed to them via the PLOT Communications Centre. After a conscientious conversation, TAAS Deputy Administrator Kathy Cameron kept the air force plane stationary, but later on told the shipment to be unloaded.

Though the incident was almost completely harmless to the Tolmakians, the Danasred, after claiming the attack added that they shall "deliver a nice present to the western vermin" on Christmas day. The statement most likely applies to also the allies of Tolmakia, but caused caution on the part of the TAAS. The administration wanted to prevent any catastrophes involving the terrorists, and the scientific shipment that was to be used for a Tolmakian satellite that scheduled to launch next month, within the next year.

Despite the somewhat successful Pejitean military campaign, Operation Mukslerev, some Danasred threats remain within the kingdom, striking unexpectedly and utilizing unpredictability. The TAAS uses the Tolmakian Republic's only launch pad located in Pejite, and usually has to rely on ferrying its completed spacecraft to the location. The 20-ton shipment was meant for a weather satellite, and was due to arrive at the TAAS PLOT facility by December 17. The TAAS Administration is likely to reschedule the flight to December 26.
