What is your national animal and what does it look like? You can also add any other information about it e.g. Its population size etc. Add pictures if possible. :lol2:

Koris national animal is the Fire Bamboo Rat. It natural habitat is Kori's native bamboo forests and is black with bright orange stripes on its back. It is rare, but not endangered.

It looks like this but with bright orange stripes and black fur instead of brown. It has the tendency to be not scared from fire, from which it derives its name. Its fur has special qualities to let it be fire resistant, letting the rat survive for a short amount of time on burning coals or flames. It is actually more closely related to a mouse, but is considered to be a rat. Its scientific name is Apodemus Ignesi.

the Teritoran national Animal is the Teritoran Dragon which is also the country national dish which helps to keep the populations down as dragons have no natural predators as they are at the top of the food chain, its common food are aurochs, wood bison, sheep and any else it can catch including people.

Dragon Hunting is a ancient and noble tradition amongst the Teritoran nobility and Teritoran noble children are not truly considered come of age until they have taken part in a dragon hunt and slain a dragon. Swords, poleaxes, spears and lances if on horseback are the preferred weapons of choice. Hunts are usually preformed in small groups for safety though special honor in Teritoran society is accorded to those who slay dragons in single combat.

The national animal of Avaerilon is the dragon; specifically the High Dragon, which is the kind of being most people imagine when they hear the word- a huge, winged reptilian being, fire-breathing and scaled. It is distinct from the Wyrm, which is long, snaky and seldom flies; the Wyvern, which primarily dwells close to the sea and has neither the four main legs nor the intelligence of its cousin; and the Common Minor Dragon, often called the Marsh or Swamp Dragon, which is small and cute, though closely-related.

The Green Dragon breed is most commonly associated with Avaerilon- primarily due to their number and part in Avaerilonian history. It was a Green Dragon that rode with Arthur into battle, and who signed the pact of friendship with the elves and men of the country.

Dragons are found usually in mountainous areas, seeking some seclusion to horde, hibernate and fly without disturbance. The greatest concentration of them is in the Dragonspine Mountains of central Fereldan. Dragons have a great number of rights and guarantees under Avaerilonian law, all of which can only be modified by the King Himself in certain circumstances. They are technically citizens of Avaerilon, though their status is quite difficult to describe without going into reams of detail.
