Just over 40 years ago Irona emerged from one of the most brutal civil-wars in the history of the planet. it lasted 22 years 4 months and 9 days. In that period the number of dead entered into the millions and the atrocity's committed against other human beings is unspeakable. The war was concluded peacefully after the coordinated coup of two of the major Belligerents by peace seeking forces as well as after pressure by international forces including those who had previously backed different factions.
After the Commonwealth of Irona was reformed a black ops group named I.J.F (Ironian Justice Force) was created. They hunted down and killed escaped war-criminals who had escaped to foreign country's as well as suppressing via assassinations and force anybody who wanted to raise a flag for one or another civil war groups. The I.J.F were extremely effective and were eventually used to fight behind enemy lines in conventional wars as well as as an anti-espionage and anti-terrorist unit. Their existence is still only know by those with the highest military clearance.
