Crimson Shadow

Known as the black-operations unit of the ZPA Ground Force, Crimson Shadow is highly secretive. Established in 2019, the Crimson Shadow works together with the ZPA Ground Force and the State Intelligence Department.

They are known for their Type 17 stealth armor, which is highly classified. The suit uses an electron beam generator to create a cloud of ionization around the user. Around the armor are panels or advance, classified coatings capable of changing color or luminosity. Dragon Works, the official alias for the Strategic Technology Development Unit of the Zhouranese People's Army, is responsible for the development of the stealth armor. Crimson Shadow operatives favor sword fighting with the Tactical Stealth Cloak Sword instead of firearms, using their stealth capability coupled with their armor to go undetected and kill their targets rapidly and discreetly. The sword, a single-handed sword, can cloak itself, but only if someone in a Type 17 stealth armor is holding it.

Crimson Shadow operatives have been drugged with a classified chemical. This chemical can give a person very good reflex. The chemical can also make a person very strong and very quick. Crimson Shadow operatives are highly skilled in Sanshou, a military combat sport. They are also skilled in sword fighting and fast pace hand to hand combat.

The size of Crimson Shadow is classified, but analysts suggests that Crimson Shadow has about 465,000 operatives.

It is considered a Class A unit.

The Imperial Offcio Assassinorium is a secretive organization of stealthy, well trained political and military assassins trained to take out designated targets. The name for these assassins is Vindicare. Ever hear the news of a national leader falling ill, suffering a fatal head shot wound, or randomly disappearing overnight? It's probably because of the Vindicare. The Vindicare carry out their jobs assigned by the Emperor himself, with EXTREME precision and swiftness. If you even see the glare of their scope from across the way, you're dead before you can shout for your guards. If an operation is of high value, then the Vindicare will even remove the body and clean the blood from the scene. Each target an assassin takes out is named a "List Item" and an operation assigned to an assassin is called a "List Item Order", for example; "List Item Order #5574" The Vindicare also take out leaders who have failed to comply with Cease and Desist Orders, which are orders sent to the leaders of other nations, who have done something to upset the Imperium.

The CPNZ currently has no real expeditionary Black ops unit, however a crack team of specially selected soldiers from the defence force make up a unit known simply as "Squadron 6" on the few records that exist of its actions engage in counter revolutionary operations, the name is a relic from the Civil war as the designation given to the unit by the preceding government, it's primary purpose is to assault compounds of hostile "terrorist" groups, neutralise command personnel and cripple the base from the inside. Since the end of the civil war its role is becoming redundant and has expanded to include serious hostage situations. Their existance is merely speculated by the public, they wear police patches when responding to civil emergencies.

Our dedicated Black Ops unit is actually a sub-branch of the Special Forces in Ubaria. Oficially tagged High Risk and Deniable Operation Command (HRDOPS) or nicknamed Hard Ops.

The unit is split into 6 separate companies each with their own pool of vehicles, pilots, engineers, medics and such. The exact number of HardOps Operatives are undisclosed to the public, though its theorized to be larger than your average black ops branch.

HardOps covers a number of Black Operations scenarios ranging from combat operations to more subtle lines of work.

They are armed with the very latest in cutting edge military technology and weapons and required to go under 3 years of normal combat tours before being even eligible for recruitment, after this is another 2 years of rigorous training in various fields. They are also briefed on things that normally the public would not be allowed to know and are forced to take an oath to never breathe a word of their operations unless told to.

Well, we don't know. We know that we have quite a few, they are suggestion-based and don't directly follow our orders. Rather, it can be assumed that at any one time at least one of the members of a given high-importance meeting will also be part of a black operations unit and will forward any concerns. It makes it easier to deny association with and disavow the entire group, thus saving us from backlash. We also know that the Knightly Order of the Sickle has contact with a few black operations units, which serves as an umbrella organization that is entirely without actual power but serves as a useful way for different agencies to meet without arising suspicion.

It should be noted that when we say 'black ops', we don't mean some glorified special operations agency that is a bit more secretive than others. We mean the groups we use to perform deeds that would be political suicide if they were ever traced back to us. Less saving the world, more wetwork, hidden black sites, blackmail, making people disappear and 'enhanced interrogation'.

We also have grey operations units, which is a term used for the paramilitary components of intelligence agencies. They are usually secretive, but are still a part of the government even if they are hidden behind false names and bank accounts.

And white operations units are publicly known special operations units, like the Navy's Kraken Group or the Unified Force Branch's Special Warfare Regiment.

[The Grand World Order]

Black, as in illegal, operations are typically carried out by Gedanke-Polizei operatives, Commissione per la Vigilanza e la Repressione dell'Antifascismo operators, or, if the Office of the Grand Commander is involved, Agents and Knights of the Military Order of Arditi's Special Tactics Force.

CVRA typically is involved when it has to do with protecting or strengthening a Fascist movement, and light terrorism.
GP is involved when it comes to destabilization, retributive strikes, terrorism, crippling non-Fascist (even if not anti-Fascist) movements, and eliminating activists. The existence of GP is highly classified.
STF is involved when it's the Grand Commander herself directly calling for it, and they're masters of mass-casualty terrorist operations- they also have conventional military power, allowing them to deploy effectively to combat zones and go toe-to-toe with fully mobilized combined arms forces.

There's a myriad of other Orderian special operations groups (see this country's factbook for more), many of which do toe the line with legality, but few have it within their primary mission to grossly violate international law.

Covert unit:
Arcanii Intelligence Service: Trained assassins and bodyguards. These troops are sent to covertly eliminate enemies of the Empire and take orders directly from the Emperor, they also double as a Secret Police unit and stamp out insurrections before they even begin.

Equipped with the best stealth armor in the Imperial arsenal, these troops can literally climb walls like spiders and turn almost completely invisible. Although they are equipped with two magnum .357 handguns, they prefer to use their two Titanium-bladed short swords, throwing knifes, and poisons.

Standard Army Units:
Preatorian Guard: These troops are the best of the Imperial Army and are hand picked for this role. Their job is to guard Rome, the Imperial Palace and the various Imperial residencies, to ensure the safety of His Imperial Majesty, and to serve as the elite shock troops of the Army

Urban Cohort: Hand picked from the ranks of the already elite Preatorian Guard, the 1,000 legionaries of the Urban Cohort are given further training and are the personal bodyguards of His Imperial Majesty and the Royal Family. They are also the best shock troops in the world. When the army can't break through the enemy, they send in the Preatorian Guard, when the guard can't break through, they send in the Urbans.

The Covert Operations Group (COG) performs top-secret black and wetworks operations. Most of its activities are classified from the public. They're generally tasked with performing black operations such as eliminating rebel or pirate leaders or even leaders of foreign nations either at war or possessing very hostile relations with Saurisia. In addition, they are also tasked with infiltrating hostile facilities or buildings and wreaking havoc. In times of war, they also perform acts that would harm the enemy war effort, such as destroying supply depots, crippling ships, assassinating commanders, supplying and aiding guerrilla forces, and stealing examples of enemy weapons, especially experimental ones in order to ensure that Saurisian scientists can design counters to such weaponry.

Yes, we do have a Black-Ops unit who is also our main and most elite spec ops unit known as Alpha Unit. They are one of our most elite and covert operations unit, who work from things from counter-terrorism to gurillea warfare to counter-insurgency to jobs behind enemy lines, and much more.

Not much is known about them other then this, due to of how secretive they are. Their training however was confirmed by Andrew Military officials and i quote, "some of the most cruel and grueling thing that you will ever face in your life time. They will make whatever pain you felt in your life seem like nothing after they are done with you." Many of their training excersises and such are classified as well, but are always labeled as intense, grueling, deadly, and so hard that your average man would die if they tried. Many are reported to have died, but it is so secretive that even the death toll is kept classified from the public and such. The instructors and trainers are said to have permission to personally beat you down without any punishment if you mess up or if they even suspect a hint of disobedience from you, they will beat you with an inch of your life, get you patched, and than put you right back into training.

To join Alpha, you must have a certain score on many physical, mental, and other tests, and then you do a several week selection training course just as a test and to see if you are qualified to even get Alpha training, and then if you are, you are taken to a secret military training facility for over several months to receive Alpha Training, which has been labeled as "worse than any torture and punishment one man can receive in an entire life time, all packed into just a few months." And to even get into this, you must be in special operations(spec ops) for a minimum of 5 years, with a high success rate with at least 4 years of battle or frontline experience before being chosen, so if we are not in a war or armed conflict, and you never see armed combat or experience, than you will never be chosen or even make it into selection for Alpha Unit. Some of the training is rumored that Alpha Unit members, to join Alpha, must be able to withstand any form of torture and pain, and so it is said that they are tortured, beaten, and even shot multiple times over the course of their training, just so they can withstand that pain during battle, conflict, and even if captured.
