Thyrgga has its own Imperial Information Sharing Network (IISN), meaning that citizens can only see content created by other citizens, the Imperial government, or domestic companies. Access to foreign "Internet" is restricted in most cases and likewise foreign access to the IISN is completely illegal. In most cases, foreigners who try to access the IISN get a friendly* visit from the Imperial Navy.

Like most other nations, the Thyrggish government restricts certain types of content that users may try to host. Below is a list of unlawful content.

    - child pornography
    - anti-government websites
    - unsanctioned sale of pharmaceuticals
    - unsanctioned sale of weaponry
    - human trafficking or slave markets**
    - websites promoting illegal religions***
    - websites claiming false authority and impersonating any citizen, business or governmental organization
    - websites promoting illegal ideologies, even if not explicitly insulting the government***

Despite this list of restrictions, problems most often arise with foreign infiltrators, because Thyrggish citizens are raised from birth to be obedient and loyal to their country. As a result, public opinion of these laws, according to polls conducted by the Imperial government, is overwhelmingly positive.

*This is usually not friendly.
**The Emperor and the full force of the Imperial Military guarantee that Imperial Citizens shall not be enslaved. Though that would technically allow for foreign slaves, bringing unauthorized foreigners into the country in large numbers would be highly illegal.
***The Empire classifies these as "anti-government websites"

The government censors anything in the internet deemed as harmful to society and national stability including child pornography, sites that are associated with terrorist groups, human trafficking or slave markets, promoting hate crimes, selling illegal drugs and weapons.

Citizens only have acces to the Purple Empirean Intra-Net and most of the Region-net. High ranked, loyal government officials also have acces to the world-wide internet, but only for surveilance and spionage of communication and trading with other nations and regions.

There is no internet censorship in Centralium, contrary to popular belief [propaganda and lies spread by the Accords]. Citizens make their own judgements on what is acceptable and what is harmful.

A collection of censorship programs known as UNITY exist to censor any websites or content deemed to be promoting criminal or terrorist activities in Pavonistade. Hate propaganda is also censored because it is believed that it may encourage violence and other crimes against a particular person or group. Other than this, there is generally no Internet censorship.

Is there internet censorship in your country?: Minimal

If so, how far does it carry out?: Vista Milan only tries to censor illegal activities online, such as child pornography, black markets, terrorism, and other threats to our citizens. Other then those, it's almost completely free.

Is there internet censorship in your country?
The Phoenix Empress has the authority to regulate all movement and trade in her Empire, including that of ideas. There is no specific censorship law for the Internet, but if a particular subject would be censored in other forms of media like books or film, it is safe to conclude that the Internet is no exception.

If so, how far does it carry out?
To permit access to useful knowledge yet ensure security of the Empire, censorship in Arendelle is very specific and focused, not broad and indiscriminate. For example, if there is a video on YouTube offensive to Phoenix Empress Helga, only that video or channel will be blocked; other YouTube videos will remain accessible. Neutral factual websites like Wikipedia and BBC are usually completely allowed. Websites that carry views against our Phoenix Empress are blocked, like those that promote a religious cult. In addition, services that use end-to-end encryption (WhatsApp is an example) will not work. They circumvent Phoenix Empress Helga's right to listen to what her subjects are saying about her.

Is there internet censorship in your country?
No, the government is not allowed to censor anything online since it would violate Article XVI of our constitution that guarantees a person's right access information and share their opinions.
Private companies and families can censor the internet by using web filters and blockers so long as it does not end up blocking government websites.
Private companies must program their own web blocker systems while families can get theirs on request from their internet providers.

Internet censorship is nonexistent in Atlantis. Private corporations, however, may censor websites as they please, provided it is reasonable.
Uses certain NS stats.

Atlantis is an MT nation that is the third richest country in the world, behind only China and the United States. It is closer to the USA, UK, Italy and Spain (in that order, though Italy and Spain is probably tied) culturally than it is Greece. It is also a naval power.

And no, Atlantis is not underwater: It has a land area around the size of France.

Pros: Classical liberalism, democracy, the West, Brexit, Viktor Orban, free education, strong military
Cons: Authoritarianism, fascism, communism, multiculturalism, Islamism

Laredo once had a system in place similar to that of the People's Republic of China that blocked many websites. However, due in part to increasing reports of the "mean-spirited nature of internet culture" the government shut down Laredo's connection to the global internet in April 2007. In February 2010, a heavily monitored and censored national intranet service was launched, and has been upgraded over the years.

We usually censor certain illegal things, and if someone looks a bad thing that gets through (terrorism, illegal gun sales, ect.) they will be tracked, and checked. If someone is foreign and does illegal things over the internet, we will not punish them unless they are really anti-frejo, then we will contact their government of origin.
