He is nominally a Takaimúnhanhá, although the extent to which anyone except a few traditionalists actually follow the religion strictly is questionable. The government effectively considers it mostly a "civic religion", a tool of culture.

All members of the NJEC (see factbook http://www.nationstates.net/nation=jumalariik/detail=factbook/id=194225) are Christian. Because we are a direct democracy, the people are the leaders, most are protestant, with the biggest denomination being baptist, followed by methodists)
