Almost the opposite for the Jaguar II, it's a bit downgraded in TF to take account for the lower threat environment and to keep costs under control for smaller and poorer TF-Carthage. Despite my attempts though, it's yet to fire a shot in anger in either TF or NS/II.

Why demand a 140mm ETC gun?
A 140mm gun will kill anything anyway.

Cause not always on NS you can chose who will be on the other side. I had my run ins with 200 tones heavy tanks, tanks armed with up to 155 mm ETC guns and so on.
The 140 mm gun yes it will kill everything now. But why not be prepared. The M7 Tigers have a standard 140 mm L 45 smoothbore gun. In constant warfare there is noting bad with an overkill.

Because the cost of your ammunition is ridiculous, as are the cost of your vehicles.
ETC is a technology that is yet to prove itself, that has limited application. In currently available formats, it is unlikely to offer significant improvement in round performance.

Well maybe. But still having armor is a good thing. Considering that in my timeline I RP with probable technology of around 2018-2020. But still I am talking earlier. I have done several of my errors and that is what I am trying to fix now.
