SquareDisc City (The UPT) -- Pokémon Battles, Pokémon Contests, Pokémon Expeditioning, spacecraft racing.

Battles and contests are self-explanatory, as in the games and anime, except that in the UPT it's very common for the Trainer/Co-ordinator to themselves be a Pokemon. Major battles attract the largest spectator audiences in the UPT.

Expeditioning is a sport that combines elements of orienteering, fell running, climbing, and other outdoor pursuits. Teams comprise one human and one or more Pokemon (with rules for different classes), with the objective being to navigate across challenging terrain as quickly as possible. It's a popular sport to participate in at amateur level, but has relatively low spectator following. Urban Expeditioning and Zero-G-E are growing spinoffs, the latter being carried out in derelict orbiting spacecraft and stations.

Spacecraft racing is primarily practiced by medium and large craft that are mechanical life in themselves with their onboard AI brain; it's the most obvious sport for such a mechanical being to do. Racing of small craft with an onboard or remote biological pilot is also done.

You could have guessed it!! Boats sailed include a variety of foiling catamarans and more "ordinary" dinghies. Mainly racing takes place with either a fleet of similar boats or using a complicated handicap system. Dinghies are usually the most popular but yachts are also common.
