In Lukquarel, corporations are banned in all territories. We believe they destroy local economies.

Corporations function under stringent government regulation and monitoring.

And most major businesses have been nationalised.
The UIT is a collection of former democracies now ruled over by a quasi-theocratic expansionist empire, created by a dictator with an insane and impossible vision of a world utopia. He dreams of a world where everyone is good, virtuous and dutiful, and all nations are united peacefully under one flag. He dreams of a world where the shallow hedonistic consumerism of modern societies is replaced with a richer, more purposeful life of high culture, fanatical loyalty and humble loving servitude to the glorious state. He believes he has a manifest destiny to unite all of humanity

Unfortunately, he is a deluded madman prepared to go to any lengths to achieve his vision of world peace. His political opponents point out that his rise to power was disproportionally influenced by car bombings.

All business is heavily regulated by the government. The government does not complete own all business but the backbone of all corporations is government regulation.

All corporations and businesses are owned by the state. All are heavily monitored and supervised by the Ministry of Economics. That goes for everything - from the biggest weapons factory to the humblest ice cream stand on the corner of the street.
The People's Republic of Kaitjan is a nation most glorious: a totalitarian communist dictatorship set against a backdrop of vast jungles, great rivers and a horribly tropical climate. Kaitjan is renowned for its all-encompassing militarism, rampant xenophobia, isolationist tendencies and a great love for tigers and tiger motifs.

Corporations being voluntary associations between people bound by contract, which aim to create profit, are allowed and unregulated in Volun. There exists no state ownership of businesses, so corporations are all either privately or socially owned, but not nationally. Businesses vary by size, but the most popular are VT Banking, Mack Machinery, Snowda, Nikital, GalEN, Bokkola, Purrniture and various others.

While regulations and government oversight is in place to monitor corporations in Koreanis the practice is mostly nonexistent. The large conglomerates of the kingdom have all but lobbied Parliament into submission. Most members of the General Assembly have their position bought for them by one corporation or another. The Prime Minister is also said to have gained his position due to the lobbying of corporations present in Koreanis.

This is currently a situation the throne is combating in order to restore the democratic system of the Koreanis.

They are big companies that have risen by successful means. Their products and services are enjoyed by the people. Corporations are subject to minimal regulation; it's only basic safety laws and few anti-monopoly laws.

Corporations can only trade under licence from the government. Typically these licences aren't difficult to obtain for new businesses, but they set out key guidelines on rules for trading and worker's rights.

The basic unit of economic activity, government regulation and taxation in Marshill is the Stakehold. A Stakehold consists of any number of individuals who together share in some common economic interest. In this respect, Marshill treats "corporations" no differently from families, cooperatives or other economic entities.

Corporate Stakeholds in Marshill tend to be smaller than in other nations due to our top tax rate of 100 percent. Corporate Stakeholds, defined as any Stakehold consisting of individuals from more than five Domestic Unions, are further subject to strong workers' rights and health and safety legislation. Since political parties and nonpublic campaign contributions are illegal, no one Corporate Stakehold exercises disproportionate political power; some corporations have joined together on an ad hoc basis to influence specific legislation however.

Corporations operating within largely state-controlled economic areas are subject to further restrictions, such as Marshill's uranium sales and marketing concerns which may only sell refined ore for peaceful uses.

The Republic of South Carolina has been encouraging Corporations for the last 68 years. There currently 468 Carolinian and Foreign Corporation within the Country. 92 of these Corporations are currently on the Forbes 500. Corporate Taxes are set at a flat 8% for Foreign. The largest owned and operated Corporation is the Nationally held Greenville-Spartanburg Oil, Natural Gas and Mining Corporation which employs 3,923,452 Workers. 1,584 Contractor Companies and 7,247 sub-Contracting Companies(2010 Census). GSONMC extracts and exports 896 million to 3.196 billion Barrels of Oil/day; 136,584,000,000 to 152,000,000,000 M³ of Natural Gas/year; 63% of the international diamond supply, 106.700 tons to 1,525 tons of Gold per annum(2012) and finally other Semi-Precious/Precious Metals/Rare Materials/and other luxury Gemstones/Metals. That put the total combined revenues for 2012 at NS$24.118 trillion. The highest in the history of Corporation and the entirety of 153 years the Nation has existed. Depending on operations: 75% to 90% of all revenue goes directly back into the Country and thus goes to Carolinian's. 88.7% of the revenue went back directly into the Country last year. Which our Country used to pay off all Internal and Foreign debts, finish updating the infrastructure projects, any other major projects. NS$4.950 trillion went into the National Reserve and each of the four States got NS$1.650 trillion allocated to them. Every Carolinian that qualified got a RSC£660,000($376,000) back along with their normal State and National Income Tax Refund. The rest of the revenue went back into the Corporation for the costs of maintenance, funding research, funding drilling/mining operations and employee benefits/salaries. The income return is excepted to surpass that of last years by at least $1.975 trillion when the Fiscal Year ends on 1/3/2014 . All of this fortune has strengthened support for Corporations to 79% of the Population.

Decepticon corporations don't work like those in most other nations. For one, there is no openly-traded stock (or even such a thing as a stock market) because it's far too easy for us to forge such financial instruments. Instead, a limited group of people are recognized by the corporation as having a stake in the company's profits and a say in how it works. When they sell their shares, they must personally appear at corporate headquarters, prove their identity through engine-vibration checks, and vouch for the buyer, who must appear at the same time and allow his own engine vibration pattern to be entered into the corporate record. Otherwise, the "buyer" is assumed to be a fraud. No documents are involved - here, all documents are assumed to be fake no matter what they're for, so we always use document-free verification methods for everything.

Needless to say, this makes it inconvenient to trade shares and eliminates the phenomenon of there being millions of shares for a company in circulation - but here in Victorious Decepticons, any financial activity without ultra-strict controls WILL be overrun with fraud, likely within an hour.

How do corporations fare in your nation?
Individually-owned businesses are much more popular than corporations here because everyone wants full dictatorial control over their companies without having to deal with any boards. We also don't like to share the profits. When Decepticons do form a corporation, it isn't just to spread out the risks. It will be done out of actual need - for example, a group of bots may be needed to bring in all of the different types of expertise that are needed and provide them with the necessary incentive to give a darn. A few others may be brought in to provide more capital.

Despite this, we have plenty of corporations, but it is hard for any to attain a truly massive size. This is due to the propensity of new businesses to break into a market by trying to blow up the existing players so that they cannot supply the demand. When successful, this leaves an opening for the new guy to get people to switch to his products and stay switched even after the old place rebuilds.

It is also hard to break into a market. This is because the existing players will try to sabotage or outright blow up the newcomers. Such action is usually taken pre-emptively. Those who go up against one of the few massive companies are usually found dead, but there are some exceptions. These exceptions usually turn out to be hyper-intelligent (at least when it comes to survival skills) and become vicious competition.

Despite all of that, there are enough Decepticons that there are always plenty of people willing to try their hands. Many of us actually think this type of activity is fun and exciting and would find the "peaceful" way of doing business to be quite boring. There are also many rewards for success that draw people in.

Are they allowed?
Of course.

What's their size?
As previously mentioned, most remain relatively small. Locking up the market in even a single big city is an achievement worth bragging about.

Those who manage to dominate their markets on a national scale, on the other hand, become untouchably huge. These companies often become empire-wide monopolies.

Big Decepticon corporations have huge paramilitary forces that protect their assets from sabotage, theft, and other such shenanigans. These forces are also tasked with protecting their market share - iow, physically destroying any competitor that gets big enough to pose a threat. Some such companies have security forces that are larger and more powerful than the army of a medium-sized human nation.

How many are there?

Several thousand. Very few Decepticons are put off by the violence inherent in opening up a corporation (and keeping competitors from opening up shop). If anything, it draws people to try their hands at it.

The reason for this is fairly simple, and a no-brainer from a Decepticon's standpoint. Everyone who goes into a business that's intended to become giant wishes to not only be rich, but powerful - and here, "powerful" refers to physical power. Political power is also desired, but as a human dictator once said, "political power grows from the barrel of a gun."

Needless to say, our national leader knows this very well. He has made sure to take over our nation's two most important industries for himself under the auspices of his personally-owned companies. He also avoided the corporation model so that all of the power and profit they bring is his alone.

How do corporations fair in your nation?
Quite well

Are they allowed?
All strategic industries that are absolutely essential for the functioning & security of the republic such as ship building, aerospace , medicine, education, heavy engineering & arms manufacturing are government owned monopolies, Other important industries such as food production, retail and consumer goods manufacturing have government owned corporations as the largest player as a means of regulating prices and production.

What's their size?
The monopolies and government owned companies are truly massive with millions of employees.
Private companies are somewhat smaller with the largest ones having hundreds of thousands of employees and the average company has several thousand employees.

How many are there?
There are thousands of private companies.

Sounds delicious. Only deep-frying can attain that level of calorie-laden goodness.

As a robot, it is physically impossible for me to become fat no matter how much of that deep-fried goodness I devour - but there isn't any food like that on Cybertron. I will come right over with my human food processing module installed, and plenty of fat-digesting enzyme powder ready.

Us Decepticons are 100 feet tall, which is pretty big (though not fat, because metal), so I'll start with an order of 10,000 chicken nuggets and a chocolate shake the size of 10 barrels of oil!

The biggest corporations are, let's say, under the care of the State.

Actually, in some ways it's the opposite, because the research colonies that became the State were originally funded by corporations, like Allaster International, Engendered Steel, Ziz Corporate, Jennings Group, and others. But it can be hardly said they control the government. Most of them were absorbed by it.
