Kronenstadt uses the PzKrIII "Musketoon"
30mm front armour, 20mm armour side and rear armour, 2 short range 4pounder guns and a 30mm autocannon. With a crew of 7 and a top speed of 25mph on roads it may not be massively effective, but it's not very expensive, and it's quiet engine and decent handling are very nice for parades. 8 metres long, 3 metres wide, 3.5 metres height.

Dude, Leo2A5-A7s armor on the front of the turret is not sloped armor, its countersloping. Its hollow on the other side, and acts like on lol big spaced armor component. The main turret face (And thus armor) remains at a vertical angle.

Design your armor based on what you expect to be armoring against. If its KEP Rounds (Like APFSDS), get as close to vertical as you can. Vertical armor since the advent of Composite armors is much more effective against KEP rounds. Sloping still works against CEP Rounds (HEAT), but actually reduces real armor thickness against rounds such as the M829A3.

To defeat KEP rounds with sloped armor you need to angle it nearly as much as the Abrams Glacis is. You cant get around this unless you revert to a all steel armor construction.

EDIT: For clarification, aimed at Anemos.

Actually, the pictured tank (A British Cruiser Mark I) was obsolete in 1941.

HEAT jets are dissipated as well, drastically decreasing their effectiveness.

Sumer said to me once that the best defense against Shaped Carges is a combination of different metals of different Density metals and spaced armor. In fact, i even came up with a bolt on armor package for the LY7 at one time to increase its protection against Shaped Charges on the turret. This is what i came up with (With the help of sumer, i knew nothing of armor at the time, this was at least a year ago).

Just to get a bit of conversation going, the test tank for the US 140mm gun was recently seen on a train in ohio... Some connection with the M1A3 program, maybe?

Here's an older picture of the thing:

Our Main Battle Tank is the Leopard 2A5 but they are all currently being upgraded to the A6 variant. We also operate some old Leopard 1A5 tanks that serve as training tanks. For light tanks we operate a hundred Stryker Armored Gun Turrets.

@Purpelia: Never went farther than potential upgrades to the LY4A2 and LY7. Thats all i have on it on hand.

@ASE: There is probably something out there on it, but i got the idea from Sumer and Lamoni in a IRC chat nearly a year ago.
