shouldn't someone put in the title "NO MECHS!" ?? it would probably reduce the number of mech posts.

Star Wars mechs suck. Mechwarrior ones are pretty damn cool though.

But none of them can beat an anime mecha. You know why? Because anime mechas are capable of breaking laws of physics!

Which means they are metaphysical, therefore do not exist. So you think you got a big kick ass mecha when really you are just standing on the battlefield by yourself. Just like the king who wore no clothes.

No, they still exist. It's just that anime mecha bend the ways physics work to however they want.

Go watch Gurren Lagann. It will explain everything about how mechas manage to work.

While they are watching anime on how mech(a)s work, I will be sending in a single MBT that will take down the mechs that break the laws of physics by itself.

I'm sorry to break this to you but even against the mired inadequacy of mecha; a single tank will lose.

A tank is better protected, a more stable firing platform, and probably faster.

Point still stands; numbered crappy mecha > one single well made tank. Even the MCA-7 in all of it's near-ascendedness as tanks go would fall to enough of them.

200+ mecha cost far, far more than 10 MBTs, and probably wouldn't be able to move or fire any weaponry without falling apart.

Even if they're gargantuan one time use missile batteries; your tanks -lose- is it so hard to comprehend this?

Tanks can hide. Tanks can carry more armour for their size. Even if the mecha win, the tanks will take out several and win on cost-effectiveness.

If your men are dead along with several premier main battle tanks I would gladly trade that for a couple of shitty mechs. But that's me; and tbh on todays battle field tanks can't hide anymore. NOTHING can hide anymore. :/
