So...I hunted down that MCA-7 and well; I'll be honest. A line from Command and Conquer comes to mind; used by a unit.

The first one? Abso****inglutely. The second one? Not much could contest it.

Indeed it does. Sumer has like, 20-25 tonnes of high end armor protecting that Turret. 25,000kg of it. He has nearly as much ARMOR on his turret as the entire Abrams Turret weighs fully equipped.

A Javelin wouldn't do crap to something as strong as the Dai-Gurren. And even if it does get damaged, we can repair on the spot with spiral energy.

Not really. In PT we use horses. Past tech is the only time period where so-called "super tanks" work. And the cataphract was the super tank of it's day.
