Was not a M113.

Was German experiment to see if you could land 2 shells in the exact same spot, doubling penetration.

Failed. Could get close, but not exactly, so failed in its design goals. Was in fact a fullblown tank, believe it was built off of the Marder or Leopard 1 Hulls.

Linked because of google.

Fail to see the Hull resemblance. MBT-70 hull is luzly short compared to this. Will however look further into it to see for certain.

with all this stuff on MT I wonder why we can't resurrect the M60A2 and apply NS magic to it to make it work

Alright, you were right. Was based off of a Shortened MBT-70 hull. Didnt see the resemblance at all initially. My bad.

With the MBT-70 you have an incredibly dizzy driver

with the M60A2 and some lulzy 152mm top-attack fire'n'forget you pretty much have everything set combined with a lulzy short main gun that you can swing around in urban areas and pop infantry with

How about you just make a regular Tank Gun, like a 120mm, and just design a GLATGM to fix it?

Seriously, that is all you need.

good sir there is no lulz in using Leo II with LAHAT

make pepperbox 152mm so rocket ignites in the barrel and SHOOTS LOL FLAMES out the front like that one german naval gun tank thing i forgot what it was called sturmtiger or w/e

do that

with coaxial 15mm HMG, collapsible RWS that pops out of the hull with 20mm cannon, and 40mm AGL for loader RWS

the cupola has one iirc

But on a more serious note, a 152mm allows me to use a hilarious ATGM with a short barrel, which is counteracted by the hugeass conventional shells it fires

the cupola is hawt

Image

needs more RWS and grenade launchers

i mean 60mm smoke not 40mm agl derp save that for coaxial or use 15mm HMG

also short 152mm is like making .50 BMG pistol

DOES NOT COMPUTE WHY MUST YOU

if you has to use 152mm use lol hueg 152mm like SU-152 for velocity and range

The point of the Starship Patton's 152 was to provide a tube for the missile, with conventional shells it's like a sawed-off shotgun that it carries under its coat

I guess the crew wouldn't mind if I removed one hatch for the mortar, and then for extra escape pull a Merkava with the hull config

wut the M60 already has an escape hatch under the hull

why need three?

also it would rly be better to make 120mm MBT-70 with box tubes for twin LAHAT or Javelins but that's also not fun

move engine up front

more armour

add back door for quick reload and keep bottom escape hatch for when tank flips over or something

increase rear area size for more ammo

only reason you need back door is fast reload tbh

We use a three different tanks.

The Army is equipped with the LY4A1, with 5000 in service equiping 10 divisons, they form the bulk of the armoured forces

The Marines are equiped with the LY7, 1500 are in service for 3 divisons.

There is also 500 LY4A2 in Army service for the "elite" 1st Armored Divison.

However we make use of 2,500 LY6A1 equiping 5 Armored Assault Divisons.

Can anyone yell me how many tanks there shold e for a divisons?, Im not sure of the compisiton of a divison 20,000 strong, cold some one tell me?

US tank divisions are about 350 tanks. It really depends on the sub-units and stuff like that. A 500 tank division is possible in MT, not likely, but possible. There are a lot of factors though.
