Apparently our definitions of field guns are different, cause field guns and towed artillery aren't the same thing.

l118 is a field gun

a field gun is a howitzer that can be towed iirc

I thought it was low-arc, low caliber towable artillery.

That's SP, not towable. Towable shouldn't move under it's own power because that makes it bigger than it needs to be.

hope that years of training to deal with pain ( and most definitely his armor ) saves him :l ....wait, it's easy to jump out, the thing is as high as a metal house dividing wall, even easier since there's no holes in the damn thing to trip on, just jump out the back or push the side door open to get out. As for the gunner, it's a bit harder because his pull down chair can block him.

at least, that's what I remember the difference being

howitzers can be towed too but that doesn't make them field guns

if your a PT or weak nation, T-34 variants are best IMO, T-90, T-72, M1A2, leopard 2, etc, tons more, but i"m not really the best person to ask, i just tried

LOL Thanks. I was gonna pick the M1 Abrams but then I thought that would be way too advanced (also cliche) for my puny nation to use. So I settled with second best.

That depends on how much you want to spend per tank. The best Russian tanks are pretty decent at pretty low costs, but if you want the best of the best it's going to cost a whole lot more.

I could use that as a base, Might add some armor and a bigger gun. 120mm seems a little weak for a tank chassis. You could just mount that on a APC or in the back of a truck.
