Does your nation have elections and how regular is it? Yes, yearly. Freemopia is a 75%+ of all inhabitant rule direct democracy. People vote for/elect proposals/ideas, not people/politicians.
Everyone in Freemopia can submit a proposal under 100 characters long to add or remove any law, tax, or government spending. Yearly the list of proposals and list of laws is sent to all inhabitants to vote to pass proposals and vote to remove laws. Nothing is passed without 75%+ of the entire nation's approval.
Each inhabitant is also offered equal daily air time on government TV and radio channels.
What type of political parties are allowed? All
Who can vote? The party or the candidate? All inhabitants of Freemopia
Are opposition parties allowed to fillibuster? Yes
How often do people excercise free speech? Every mili-second. Freedom of speech
Does government collect data on the people? only if there is a 50%+ chance the person committed a crime and then only to collect what is relevant to the criminal investigation, some info may be collected on criminals only if relevant to their criminal case, and some info may be collected on prisoners such as searching them for weapons. Does your nation have elections and how regular is it? We have a total of four parliaments, along with a directly elected Head of State & Government. While on parliament is appointed by various public organizations, unions and corporations, the other three are elected democratically. The National Assembly is elected every four years through proportional representation, the People's Assembly is elected through FPTP every three years (and MPs are recallable) and the Storfylke Assembly is elected every other year through PR in every storfylke (with each Storfylke having the same number of MPs regardless of population). The Premier is elected every four years, with an unlimited number of terms.
What type of political parties are allowed? All kinds. The five largest parties currently are: The Socialist Worker's Party (Democratic Socialism, Big Tent), Electoral Alliance of Democratic Liberalism (Social-Liberalism, Big Tent), Alliance of Radical Socialists and Farmers (Communism, Big-Tent), Patriots of Breheim (Nationalism) and the Skrog Party (Presidentialism, Populism, Liberalism).
Who can vote? The party or the candidate? The People's Assembly can be contested by independents and the vote is for the candidate. The National Assembly and Storfylke Assembly are elected through party lists, while the Interest Assembly is appointed by public institutions. All citizens who become 18 or older have suffrage for any election.
Are opposition parties allowed to fillibuster? No.
How often do people excercise free speech? Fairly often, but the major media are either state-run, owned by major political parties or owned by the current Premier (Even Skrog) privately.
Does government collect data on the people? Yes, the People's Security Bureau runs a large surveillance programme on the population at large, and individuals of interest (suspected criminals and terrorists) in particular.
Do people have the right to bear arms? No, but gun ownership is quite common, but restricted to hunters, members of the People's Security Burea and the Armed Forces as well as sports shooters and inhabitants of areas with a significant polar bear or cossack population.
Can people practice any religious faith? Yes.

Does your nation have elections and how regular is it? Every Four Years.
What type of political parties are allowed? Any party that respects the laws of the current constitution and whose ideologies do not come at the cost of the well being of anyone.
Who can vote? The party or the candidate? The party elects a leader who will in turn become the candidate for Presidency. Then, the people of savedland vote for the party (and so, the leader) they preffer.
Are opposition parties allowed to fillibuster? . Technically, yes. But any 'taking out' must be supported by a full argumentative speech and will be, in turn, discussed by the entirety of the parliament. In other words, they can object to something but cannot veto.
How often do people excercise free speech? Free speech is pretty much taken for granted.
Does government collect data on the people? Nothing that is related to private life. Our constitution clearly defines privacy boundaries. It should be stated though that each of our 5.032 citizens have a file in our datapbanks that only contains public information. Name, occupation, District of residence, financial data (to avoid tax evasion of any sorts) and health issues if there are any ( to administrate maximum healthcare). The process is completely transparent though. The initiative begun with the consent of the public.
Do people have the right to bear arms? Yes but the paperwork to do so is so extensive and complex that most people simply don't bother.
Can people practice any religious faith? Yes. Freely. As long as any faith's practices do not involve harming other people in any way or have them engage in any kind of acts against their will.
The United Federated Districts of Hevora. Or Savedland, as it is often hideously anglicized...

We are a large, free, powerful and beautiful country with a very long history that stretches back thousands upon thousands of years.

We are a union of many nations and cultures. The most dominant and shared by almost everyone is that of the Hevoran (Savedlish) People. It has its roots lying in an ancient creole culture that emerged from extensive contact between a bronze age hellenic and norse civilization which evolved convergeantly on an fictional, alternate universe Earth.

Bit weird, I know. But we're a lovely culture if you care enough to get to know us! :D

Does your nation have elections and how regular is it? Yes. Elections to the National Assembly and Senate must take place every three years, though snap elections for the National Assembly are permitted.
What type of political parties are allowed? All types are permitted.
Who can vote? The party or the candidate? Everyone over the age of 18 can register to vote. Voting in National Assembly elections is for individual candidates (partisan affiliations are displayed on the ballot), while voting in the Senate is for party lists (voters may give a preference vote to and individual candidate on their chosen party list).
Are opposition parties allowed to filibuster? Yes, though strict rules are imposed upon its use. Breaching those rules will result in an order to desist from the presiding officer. As such, filibusters are only attempted for major issues.
How often do people exercise free speech? As often as they wish. Per the constitution, the freedom of speech is legally protected and police must therefore have a valid reason to disperse any protests. Merely "the government doesn't agree" doesn't count.
Does government collect data on the people? Only the minimum public data (such as name, date of birth, sex, address) necessary to carry out its functions. A right to privacy is guaranteed by the constitution. Strict limits are placed on data collection and any extraneous data collection is expressly forbidden.
Do people have the right to bear arms? There is no "right" to bear arms, though it is permitted. The process of legally acquiring a firearm is rather long, but not terribly difficult for anyone with any actual common sense.
Can people practice any religious faith? Of course, though individual religious practices may be forbidden. Freedom of religion and separation of church and state are guaranteed in the Saint Jamesian constitution.
