Anyways, can anyone recommend with solid confidence a good bull-pup assault rifle?

Sediczjan infantrymen are issued one ration box per day with another in reserve to be carried in the rucksack, along with an emergency ration (consisting of high-energy biscuits, chocolate, jerky-like dried shredded meat) on top of that, carried in uniform pockets.

No, I did not use the words "Adviseable", I used the words "doable".

The munition in question may very well be in the "in-between" in regard to something like 7.92x33 Kurz and .35 Remington, yet with a few similarities to a thickened and necked-out Jarmann case, just rimless, maybe even belted for the fuck of it.

Sounds nuts, but I've said crazier. Understand that this thing, whatever the fuck it may be if/when I flash it up would probably get resurrected for a Colonial Guard Light Infantry Brigade application of some sort in the far-ass-future (2120s, 2200s, ect) for the matter of logistics IF this semi-nonsensical pursuit bears a fruit of any kind.

Anyway, making a quite obvious and direct reference to our esteemed, late forum member "The Ninth Republic" whom was tragically forced to suicide by Nuaeo Corada's biting criticisms of his spaceship linearts should not bring "Belgium" to anyone's mind. Especially not the murderer's. It just shows that his calculating intellect is the fault of random chance rather than deliberate, conscious decision.

Wait. wasn't "Ninth Republic" just one of danton / triplebaconnations puppets, though?

Anyways, I hope no one minds if I repost this again. It was rather overlooked the last time.

nice, now i've got an accurate case capacity. also, this is the boolit. i suppose i could use a 10.4 sec. density though, taking me up to 107 grains of boolit weight.

780 m/s? mighty nice! could i get all that pressure safely?

Yep, you can indeed.

Edit: In fact, with the right weight plugged in, MV is now 785 m/s at 55kpsi and 805 m/s at 58 kpsi.

Fun fact: the penetration requires issued by NATO for PDW rounds suggest that they wanted a round that non-combat personnel could use to shoot retreating Soviet soldiers in the back.

Depends.

On a 3 day patrol you'll get 4 or so MREs. They just hand out 4 MREs to you, maybe if your a buddy of the guy opening up your box, then maybe you might get something that isn't pork sausage and gravy. You strip them and carry what you need like entrees, bread, snacks and you'd leave things like heaters, non-Gatorade drink mixes, stuff like that. Things you can eat on the move are valued.

Typically when your in the field in some kind of advanced position, during an advance or something like that you get at max 2 MREs a day. During the Second Gulf War US troops lived on MREs for months down to the sugar packets.

So quick question. I'm currently using the MG4 and HK121 currently as a Squad Automatic Weapon and a Mounted Machine Gun respectively. Would I be good with just using just one of them or am I doing the right thing and using them separately?

The Steyr AUG has proved its worth over the years. The L85A2 solves most of the A1's faults. The F2000 has a neato foward-ejection system. And of course the Vepr is a very reliable bullpup rifle.

Standard is the 5.56x45mm NATO however the 7.62x51mm NATO is also very common in the military.

I feel the significant benefits offered in nearly all environments by GPMGs permit the transition in nearly all environments to GPMGs over belt-fed "light" machine guns designated by cartridge.

use both but the HK121 should just be a moutned gun it should be kicking around for ifnantry use at the company/battalion levels.

of coruse having both an MG4 and a HK121 at the section/squad elvel is also doable as is ditchign the Mg4 completely due to the lulzy "assault" configs the 121 can be morphed into.

All these approaches work but when in doubt its helps to always lean towards the more machine gun solution.

And rip fuel. Can't forget the rip fuel.

Only DLN does it, that's why I hate her the most. She constantly tip-toes the border of flaming herself, the site would be better without her.

Anyways, can anyone recommend with solid confidence a good bull-pup assault rifle?

Real or no?

Sedikal wrote:So quick question. I'm currently using the MG4 and HK121 currently as a Squad Automatic Weapon and a Mounted Machine Gun respectively. Would I be good with just using just one of them or am I doing the right thing and using them separately?

Just make the MG4 your workhorse.

Disregard bullpups, acquire FN FALs.

Or, if you're set on a bullpup, the EM2 in .280 wouldn't be a bad choice.
