I have been since the beginning of this academic year. We're currently in 3rd place (out of 3) for the Platoon shield competition. D:

We won in the Military Knowledge test, and in the Drill Competition/Parade/OtherMillKnowledge Competition, but DNF in the loaded march, because surprisingly 'you'll know when to take the right-hand turning' isn't very good directions.

On an alternate note, would you happen to know how the Russians got such a high muzzle velocity on the 30x29mm grenade for such a small cartridge? Possibly how effective its warhead is compared to 40mm designs?

Higher pressures than American 40mm grenades and probably no Hi-Lo pressure system, I'd imagine.

The patent you're seeing is outdated. By 2005 at least, the focus had shifted to inductive ignition with the Hi-Lo set up contained within the grenade. Here's a folder with all the .pdfs I've been able to find about Metal Storm. As you can see, the AICW concept evolved considerably, as did the ignition methods. 2002 seems to have been about the time when experimentation started with induction technology, based on their various presentations.

For the second time, that is an AMD-65.

Is the only difference between the two furniture? Because both of them come up when you search for one or the other, and the URL of that one says AMD-63, which certainly doesn't help with any confusion between the two..

The AMD-63/AKM-63, while having the same grip and handguard, is a fixed-stock rifle (different rear trunnion as well as a 16" barrel). The AMD-65 is the side-folding carbine (14.5") variant.

I find it amazing that he has no trigger discipline in most pictures I see of him.

Russian trigger discipline is a bit different in some instances. I know one method of TD used is to insert the trigger finger into the trigger guard, but exert forward pressure to where the nail bed of the finger is contact the front of the inside of the trigger guard. With constant forward force, you should be safe. The finger touches the trigger, but any force exerted will be towards the side of the trigger and not rearward. It is mostly used when contact isn't just expected, but guaranteed. He might also just be MTK and give no fucks.

I understand most of those words, but I do not understand most of the sentences they form. Google Translate is not the best in this case, as I really must question the practicality of using a rifle as blood pressure and whether or not this is clearly prevented "fresh" ammo.

Neither's a great choice.

Though the SKS had some pinned and some screw barrels so who knows, it might be possible. But you would need to design a new screw-fix AK barrel.

I've had numerous brand name pairs over the years and none of them have ever been comfortable for walking in. Some of the current "designer" types popualr with yummy mummys and the chelsea tractor brigade probably have some attempts at comfort (since they never see any more mud or water than can be found at the odd riding school).

Personally i would prefer good gortex boots with puttees/galoshes, well unless your are playing in serious water in which go for it and adopt wadders aswell.

Seeing how police brutality angers me a lot, I'd like to have my riot police uniforms incorporate some sort of unique identifier such as a unique number, although I was wondering if there exists some sort of marker more easily and reliably recognizable in poor quality videos (such as improper filming angle, low resolution, poor contrast/lighting/etc, only a portion of the marker appearing on film, etc.) Can someone point me in the right direction? Has this been tried before?

As Kour said just use the british/metropolitan polce appraoch of obvious warrent numbers on outer wear and helments. You coudl also give them a dimish IR active paint/coating so they don't look any different to the naked eye but stand out like a mother f*cker on dingital cameras. I say dimish as you want them ti stand out with good definition against the background but not be bright enough to dazzle image sensors.
