Still not as badass as the Nagant.

Am I the only person who doesn't see the Nagant as a badass or amazing weapon? Sure it has a neato sealing mechanism, but the reloading process and puny looks of it keep me away.

It is a dandy pistol.

And yeah, the Nagant is innovative, but just seems a bit on the small-side.

It's not necessarily the design itself so much as the history.

  • Capable of being properly suppressed
  • Built with function overtaking form
  • Probably the highest "kill count" revolver in history due to Soviet purges
  • Its cartridge looks like a dog's weiner "doing that lipstick thing" (according to my cousin)
  • TAKES A FUCKING MAN'S MAN TO SHOOT IT
  • Russian Roulette
  • Still in use in one form or another, just shy of 120 years after its introduction
  • Gulag Nagant
  • Of most glorious

I have nothing really against it. I know of it's capability and that it's still around for good reason. It simply wouldn't be my first pick at the range.

Well of course. Your first pick should always be the CZ-97B.

I ask because it's lighter, smaller, and can insert troops IMO faster, plus it has the benefit of a Pilot Controlled turret on the nose

They all look great. My only problem is how changing a single thing, one that doesn't change how the weapon really performs, makes it a different variant. Talking about the ergonomic grip for the Match and threaded barrel for the Tactical.

That's basically what every manufacturer ever has done. Helps increase sales (lolnew model, totes!) and differentiate exact differences between handguns.

V-22 osprey with the originally planned GAU-19 would be what you want. double the capacity of the Blackhawk. far faster and it gives you the ability to provide Airsupport to any troops you land. (it has wings and nothing says you could't throw a few ATGM's or Rocket pods on them)

if you want a smaller aircraft then go with a AH-6 it's the combat variant of the Oh-6 five it a single minigun on the side and you're GTG

Someone actually modelled it in a flight simulator and figured out it's not too far off working. It is pretty open though, so unless you're certain everyone who's going to be riding in it is going to have gear capable of withstanding high-altitude bad weather, you might want to add some sliding doors or something.

So I wrote up a thing.... just a short blurb on the current armor unit
Protection
As of right now the current armor design for the MKII L is a level IIIA two piece Aluminium cable ripstop Kevlar fabric. With high density Polycarbonate Armor segments plated with 4mm HSS t-1 steel to deform the projectile Overlaying that protects vitals while still allowing mobility and flexibility in the joints. in the the HDP plates are 4cm thick and since I have no frame of reference really beyond I'm going to give it similar effectiveness. the Lazarus MkII L armor featured increases in bulk compared to the MKII in favor of lighter weight and increased Raw strength. the helmet itself is composed of 3-5CM thick polycarbonate with 8mm thick T-1 HSS steel plate covering and a completely padded High strength foam to protect the soldier from blast impacts.

Utility
The armor features various built in utilities including a built in plasma torch in either the right or left gauntlet. High intensity flashlights mounted into the helmet as well as laser ranging and designation units. The armor features internal storage compartments for small items and a integrated water reservoir and urinary recycling system as well as the ability to harvest ambient moisture. As for physical waste it is disposed of using forced air to eject it from the armor. The armor itself is capable of supplying soldiers with nutrition in what amounts to a nutrient paste. It adds water from the reservoir to to stored dry components for when the solider is unable to retrieve a ration or is in a survival situation.

Technology
the Visor features digital overlays for a heads-up display as well as displaying target ranges and allowing the soldier to mark locations and targets for other members of his squad. The overlays can be completely customized and even removed if desired and the visor also is capable of direct feed from the helmet mounted camera system that features various filters for IR and Light enhancement. The armor also features a small oxygen reserve located in the helmet that can be manually operated even without power as well as a backup filtration system to filter out incoming dust and toxins purifying the air meant to supplement the suits powered one. All units feature integrated IFF tags to prevent friendly fire incidents. As well as communication suites for both intersquad and platoon channels with NCO's and officers featuring upgraded units with enhanced range and capability.

Power
The MkII L uses a 4th generation liquid tiberium reactor that produces 70Kw and features motorized components in order to assist the user. These make it so that the armor allows the user to lift in excess of 500 Kg and carry over 100kg with relative ease as if it were no more than a day pack.

Comfort
the armor features memory foam backing that is designed to provided maximum comfort for the wearer and cushion them from concussive blasts. The armor has a complete climate control system that automatically adjusts to maintain internal pressure and temperature.

Modularity
the armor features a modular attachment system on it's exterior for the purposes of attaching various equipment pouches or additional protection. to do so requires replacement of a standard armor plate wit ha modular enabled one (The plates themselves are modular and are designed to be removed in the field with ease) there is also variations that feature various stealth enhancement methods including light refraction units and Electronic jamming suites.

Variants
A vehicle crew variant that features a slimmed down and lightened 50Kw power pack and less powerful motors it also typically does not feature the armor plate segments and primarily relies on the Underlying Kevlar layers. High output and heavy units are available for combat engineers featuring higher output motors capable of lifting 750Kg and a more powerful 125KW power pack as well as a improved plasma cutting torch Reconnaissance armor utilizes 2cm thick HDP plates for faster movement and minimal fatigue as well as enhanced optics suites. Though these pale in comparison to the Sniper armor units. Sniper armor features a massively enhanced Optics suite a full array of visual, radar and infrared detection defeat equipment and a 100Kw power unit that features a unique charging equipment to power their CSR-C Electromagnetic rifles. Spotters are typically equipped with reconnaissance armor
