Just use a different front sight housing. You'll come to realize that the AKs with BARS also use a different front sight housing than standard. BARS makes things proprietary.

hey Beno would you mind if I replaced my CC-M Taipan with the art of the 7.62X25 version you made, as I've got an idea for my own 7.62X22 or 7.62X32 cartridge, I'm thinking of playing around with necking a .45 ACP down to a 7.62X25 projectile or for 7.62X32 is a necked down .50AE of all things.

what's the case capacity on it?

other wise I might go and do what I've been considering and take 7.62X39 and make.....7.62X39 that uses a 7.62 tokarev projectile as a carbine round/PDW round.

so a little more than half of what the .50AE has? hmm.... maybe. I've pretty much decided on having a seperate pistol and PDW cartridge rather than an SMG

That's how I do it. 7.62x25 +P for the pistols and 7.62x32 Ship for the PDW. Adapters exist so the latter can fire the former, however.

One could also say that it's a doppeltrommel and is therefore 75 rounds.

That is clearly a Beta C-Mag.

The doppeltrommel is for MG 42, MG 13, etc.
