Well, if you're looking for a SAW/IAR, and the -107 is your standard-issue, then yeah.

No real reason to use it over the AK-107.

You see? Can an AK-107 do that?

I pretty much gave up on the AK series post M. Anything that fires 5.something rather than glorious 7.62 is of no interest to me.

7.62 is the only way in current typical combat engagements in afghanistan,

Therefore everybody must use it.

Because it works in all environments, and is bigger.

Men do not feel recoil.

AK-109 has BARS and fires 7.62x39
So does the AEK-973 but we don't talk about the AEK-973
