what does the pentration assume the projectile is made of? Cause my calculations are based off T1 HSS alloy and copper jacketing (I work in hardware store so I'm pretty experienced with it and no its not a huge chain its a local one so I actually know my shit for tools)

So If the math all works out right my round would outperform or match 7.62X54R 7N13 in penetration at 500m using only FMJ. it's listed as 6mm at 520m (who the hell tests at 520m?) I'm assuming that this would be due to the fact that I have a lighter, faster projectile.
