The MPi-K-93; basically AK-74 derivative with more extensive use of synthetics in the furniture and issued with translucent magazines of indigenous design. M/90 ammunition is an indigenous development of the 7N10 cartridge, primary difference being the use of polymer in the case, reducing weight from 10.7g to 8.025g per cartridge.

Oh, and prepare thineselves for Cold War scifi inspired goodies.

One fine example is this, a 14.5mm(.570) caseless slug.

The version on the left seems a bit longer, yet more handwavium derived than the usual NS caseless handwavery; yet, in contrast, the more squat "thumpery" vibe-bearing version seems to match the sidearm and subsequent carbine designs more.

Please state your opinions and offer suggestions if you have them, but remember, Nation states pseudo-scifi handwavery is shown at it's best right here.

I honestly don't know. After watching Aliens for the whothehelknowseth many times, I said to myself "Hey, this caseless gig looks pretty neat.", then just chucked something together in flash. If it could work then I guess the "outer casing" shown to the left is the propellant made up of something or other capable of producing ignited gases and thereby launching a slug down a barrel. The "slug" is the bit to the right methinks.

You could try modelling it after the 9mm Smith & Wesson caseless round.

Normally I'd post a link, but my tablet is still fucked up and crashes when I try to copy anything. Do a google image search for "S&W 9mm caseless" and you'll see what I mean.

Anyways, since my country doesn't use 5.45mm rounds, are there any other weapons aside from the AKS-74U that I could give to tank crewmen, pilots, etc.?

There was a very early prototype of an AKMSU, which was basically the 7.62 AKS-74u.
The Indians do actually rock a 7.62 conversion of the AKS-74u for their troops. Strictly, I think it's what amounts to an AKMSU receiver kit conversion to their AKM rifles.

I have been doing some work on the rear sights for my rifle but don't have the proper time to test them. So here are the specs and the model and I would appreciate it if you could take a look at them and see if the drawing fits the numbers. It's still a very raw beta and all.

Specifications:
The entire unit is 98.5mm long with the graduated rod having a useful length (the bit that is used for sighting) of 88.2mm. When the unit is fully raised it goes up to 7mm from horizontal. The sight is supposed to be graduated up to 1000m and useful up to say at least ~800.

Zoom in and play around with it a bit. Than tell me if it all checks out.

Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

Still poor. You can't use the sights if the optic you mount there fails without taking it off.
Can you even release the receiver cover with that rail in place? Looks pretty tight against it.

ACU camouflage?

MY EEEEEYES! YOU'RE KILLING THEM!

seriously though, ACU was a try to make a camouflage that'd be good for all environments and the result was a camo that sucked in almost all, salvo for urban ones, and sofas.

if you really need a camo that performs OK in all environments, you should look at the Multicam. anyways, dedicated camouflage for each environment >>>>> multi-camouflages.

here's a list of camos i consider to be good. i'm no expert however so take it with a bit of salt:

jungle camos:

brazilian lizard (bonus for amazonic environments)
flecktarn
british DPM

desert camos:

MARPAT desert
A-TACS desert
chocolate chip

snow camos:

some finnish camo i can't remember the name

urban camos:

i found this one randomly. no idea what it is

Your leaf button/block stays perfectly vertical while the leaf itself angles up through it. The slider should stay put, rotating at the same angle as the sight leaf as it is moved forwards.

Do you also plan on it doubling as a standing leaf sight/ladder sight? Like what is found on the M91, Arisaka series (and I believe SMLE)?

I honestly don't know what you are talking about. What are these standing sights for? I barely understand how the regular sights work beyond: "knob moves along slope, forces rod to move thus moving the rear reference point.
