Great, that's good enough. Any more rules I need to know?

If you have a boat tail angle of 89.3 degrees apparently you get a drag coefficient in the high 80,000s.

Not eighty. Eighty thousand.

As a follow up on military medics, does 40h-60h of medical training for the regular grunt sound viable?

Any reason you aren't using 7.92x57mm?

And if he doesn't want to, he can just use a rimless version of it, just like I did with my old nation.
Or go the Finnish route. :p

I have the biggest shit-eating grin right now, because I just had an ingenious idea.

Most of you are familiar with the Swedish wonder 9mm right? the M/39b that can go through 50 layers of kevlar at 75 meters?

After running some numbers through a ballistic calculator, I've discovered that the .30 carbine will do the exact same thing at 275 meters, assuming the .30 bullet has the same construction and requires the same amount of energy and velocity as the 9mm to do so.

Didn't Puz tell us it was important to remember that "fifty layers of Kevlar" is the body armour industry's equivalent to the tank industry's "800mm RHAe" in that quite a number of "layers" of kevlar make up one vest?

I seem to recall the number as being somewhere between 30 and 50.

Aqizithiuda wrote:Yes. The 5.45x39mm is easier to extract in adverse conditions, the 7N6 projectile has more consistent terminal effects than the SS109, and the 7N10 should have better penetrations than the M855A1

Nope. The 7N10 is a steel cored ball round. The M855A1 is a steel tipped ball round.

The NAMMO clone of the M39/B does it, to be precise.

As you can see the bullet construction is identical.

I so call this for a future machine gun design.
It appears to be a 5.56 machine gun with some PK design features (notably how the bolt drives the feed pawls), some interesting locking, unlocking and ejection characteristics and probably most interestingly of all - the pistol grip appears to serve as your cocking handle.

Because why not.

Flash files are the actual saved lines and pencil drawings on the canvas. Image files are the exported ones and cannot be edited without the Flash file. It's not strange.

That is not quite right. Flash does have the capability to convert regular images into Flash drawings. You won't get any layering or similar things from your original file back but you do get all the lines, fills etc. converted into a flash drawing which you can edit. I don't know what version of flash you are using, but in my version the function is called Trace Bitmap. Just import the bitmap into an open flash file, click it and use the function. You will have to fiddle with the settings thou. Took me forever to get some things converted right.
