Most Freemopians speak more than 2 languages. Freemopia has open migration and there are lots of different languages in Freemopia. Being able to speak multiple languages is encouraged and praised. Many Freemopians naturally learn different languages by being around people who speak them. Freemopia’s government does not mandate that anyone know any language or be educated, and does not fund classes to learn languages because it is unnecessary and it is usually easy to learn from neighbors.

Virtually all citizens of Albair speak two languages. If from the ancestral group of Scottish, Liefsson and Irish migrants all speak Old Scottish or Irish as well as English while in the colonies it is expected all natives speak English or Old Scottish or Irish alongside their native tounge.

TurtleShroom spoke excusive Russian, with English and Ukranian, from the founding to 1801 AD. Most TurtleShroomers knew basic English, though they learned Russian first and fluently. After the turn of the nineteenth century, where English was officially adopted and taught to all youth, Russian took a back seat and didn't die out for another hundred years. Today, few TurtleShroomers are bilingual, because everyone uses English.

Bilingualism is very common in the Commonwealth, there live many different ethnic groups with their own language families and a need for a uniting language is needed. Thus most speak at least two languages.

Most people in F&O speak two languages. English is the most used language, and is recognized as an official language, but other two languages, Osteyonese (a Celtic language spoken in the north) and Fonidian (a Romance language spoken in the south) are also recognized as official. In order to preserve both languages, students from schools in the northern shires will also have Osteyonese lessons along with English lessons, and and those from southern shires, Fonidian lessons along with English. Students from more central shires will choose between both languages.
The demonym of my country is Ostidian.
My country can be referred to as Fonidia and Osteyon or F&O. Fonidia, Osteyon, "Ostidia", the Union or the Great Union are also acceptable terms.

By nature of how our nation was founded, the Federal Republic was by necessity bilingual, Spanish and English. Subsequently, the Captain General has been steering school aged children from the former towards the latter.

Most people speak more than one language, the most common being Latin, a reason is that since we have a lot of things from Latin, it's easier.

Though German and French are common as well.

bilingualism is extremely common in Wagondia. 63% of the population is bilingual, as our country is incredibly linguistically diverse. In Wagondia proper alone, there are at least three official languages in any given area, with even more variation in specific communes and provinces. In the commonwealth, there are dozens of other significant languages, which have complimented and expanded our own government language, English.

Not that common but it's not rare to encounter an Amurian who speaks both Russian and English or Saurian due to the years of close contact and friendly relations the Grand Duchy has enjoyed with Saurisia, one of its oldest allies.

Mix Muscovy, Tsarist Russia, elements of the USSR and the Russian Federation, and Anthrosaurs and you get the Grand Saurian Principality of Amury

It is to a degree. Most people who deal with foreigners speak English as well as the local language. However, every day people tend to not bother with learning multiple languages until it becomes needed.

There is only one official language (Latvian). Most Varians speak Latvian as their mother tongue. Many, if not most, are also proficient in English as a second language. Minorities such as Russians and Germans speak their own languages in their homes, but they are minorities. English is taught in all schools, and during middle school, many students may choose an additional language class (usually Russian, German, Latin, or French).
