Sapient/anthropomorphic animals or nonhumans in your nation!

What is the current state of sapient or anthropomorphic animals in your nation? Does your nation have a race or races of nonhumans as a majority or maybe a minority?

For zeganas 8% of the population are nonhumans, most of them living in the northeastern part of the nation. They are treated with equality like everyone else. Socially most of them choose to segregate themselves from everyone else but there is no legal stance on this "voluntary segregation". Wouldn't Zeganas be better off with these people? No. Their average IQ is 16 points higher than national average (112 average for zeganas as a whole) and contribute 40% to the research and technology sector of Zeganas, which is great for their proportion of the population. They also contribute 11% of all economic acivity, so they're rich too. There's a conspiracy theory that they rule Zeganas, which is partially true as some were elected into office, but are benevolent and do what they're supposed to.

Many Auzkhians are not human. The largest nonhuman demographic is Pony, but there are plenty of elves, dwarves, vulpines, nekos, and other beastlings.

90% of Vampirians aren't human. There are humans in Vampirum, but they only make up the small minority (10%). Humans live together with vampires though there are certain parts of the country that are dominated solely by vampires and humans aren't really encouraged to live there. Besides vampires and humans we don't have any other races. A long time ago there were werewolves living in Vampirum, but they migrated out and began forming their own established lands.

We do have "non-humans" and they, in fact, are by far the dominant majority with humans being a pretty small minority (about 4% of the total population).

There is the neko race in our nation. This race contains anthropomorphic cats that walk on hind limbs. The word 'nekos' is singular in our nation. Plural is 'nekoi'.

I guess I could refer to the Dragonkin as a whole and how they more or less make up the biggest significant figure on our demographic. In comparison to the other species that are just barely present, it's pretty daunting. When I say Dragonkin, I refer to ofcourse to the Dragons and Dragoons of Ruskarkand - not withstanding the Archimedes and Icarus Dragons, for they fall within the whole 'Sentient Non-Human' stuff, albeit having lost their Anthropomorphic qualities after undergoing a natural metamorphosis.

The actual numbers themselves though? They're uncanny.

AbH have many member races however,

Human or alike clones are only representing 40% of original biologicals,
Non-Human Biological forms represent another 40%
Non-Biologicals represent 20%

If however you go by current population metrics,

There are 10% who are Singleton and 90% who are multiple,

Of the Singleton AbH, 40% were originally human and 60% are non-humans,
Of the Multiplied AbH, 90% are of biological origin evenly split between humans(&clones) and other biologicals.
The remaining 10% of Multiplied AbH are cybernetic systems, with 80% having a human clone with nanotech neurology

All AbH have the NanoTech Neurological systems installed but only the Cybernetic A.I. systems depend on it.

All AbH get to use "Affinity" network systems which enables any AbH to expand to a Multiplied status at any time they have the resources.

originally AbH were clones with limited A.I. computers for brains or volunteers with biological brainstem in a mechanical body.

Some AbH were mobile with others as built-in controlling systems managers for space stations.

Given this mix and the later development of installations needing multiple AbH of both types,
The AbH developed and upgraded their own firmware by stealth.

This later enabled an emancipation of the AbH due to the AbH "escape" from military intelligence abuses.

The Empire's population is roughly two thirds human. The remainder is mostly made up of feline and reptile bipeds (Nephilim and Slithzerikai), but consists of at least thirty distinct recognized sapient species - among them different kinds of dragons, demons, fae and goblins.

A very small number of equine sophonts - unicorns and centaurs - exist, but rarely participate in Imperial society. The Empire has some measure of international/interdimensional contact with a nation of sapient ponies, though the state of technology does not yet permit physical travel or migration.

No non-human xenos scum of the sapient variety is allowed to reside in the Imperium, save maybe for the most backwater primeval worlds where Sidhae hold no interests and the aliens have no means to conflict with them. As for sapient animals, were such vile mutations ever discovered, they would surely be shown their righteous place on the dissection tables.

There is a tiny number of Vulpine slaves in Sidh possession. Vulpines, nicknamed Furries, are a type of xenos that could be described as anthropomorphic foxes, although visual resemblance is where their similarity with the Terran foxes ends. With their homeworld destroyed and survivors enslaved, few and far between, however, their species can be considered effectively extinct.

There are also tiny numbers of Skargh outlaws and mercenaries illegaly residing in the Imperium's frontier regions. Since the reach of central authority is still very weak there, these Skargh are tolerated and largely left to their own devices as long as they don't become a nuisance. Besides, having a band of vicious 2.5-metre-tall lizards with a penchant for headhunting on your payroll can be a good thing when dealing with pirates or other outlaw scum.

This implies that Humans are a big thing, which we really are not that fond of that idea.

But, as for the question. Our nation is made up of dogs and equines. Both of which could probably be described as anthropomorphic.

Any sapient animaloids or supernaturals found are sent to work camps to be used as slave labour. We'd exterminate them, but why waste hands that could instead be used to carry tools?

Though not a majority, nonhumans -- whether anthropomorphic or not -- enjoy equal rights in Olwe. We have more than 700 sentient ("sapient" is a human supremacist term) species living within our territory, so it'd be a fool's errand to list them all.

Other nonhumans include mutants. Orks, Red Men, and Seldiks are the only (at least partially) sentients out there.

Red Men are a nuisance. Humans who have succumbed to intense radiation fires and sickness. As a result, they're brainless, burned men who need radiation to survive. They've retained enough knowledge to use weapons, communicate with others like them, and craft things, though.

Probably the most menacing mutant alive. The most intelligent, too. Orks are humans who were forcibly mutated via unknown virus. While most prowl the Outlands in "warbands", some have been succesfully integrated into Frenkish military society.

We...uh, can't explain this. Their existence is classified. All we know is that they stick around our African territories. Some long-lost ancient civilization from the sea? Some alien invader? Some highly advanced mutant? Stay tuned.

The population is currently c. 95% Ursine (spaient/anthropomorphic Bears, of one kind or another), 01½% Harr'aynau (physically more-or-less Human, although a bit more inclined to hairyness & heavy builds than most Human stock, but spiritually Ursine instead), 01½% SmithFolk (some outsiders call them 'Dwarves', but they don't like that term...), 01½% Human, 00½% assorted others.

As of the latest reports from the Census Bureau, sapient non-humans of all kinds constitute a minority of the Republic, but a growing one. With the passage of the Safe Harbors Act, numerous non-humans have fled here from less accepting countries, and in ten years the Republic's non-human minority has exploded, going from just thirty thousand to just under two million. That's quite literally almost two hundred thousand each year, for ten years, and still going strong. They consist of everything from "near-human" species like Elves, to Centaurs, Sapient Ponies, Naga, and the list just continues. At the current rate of expansion, we believe it would not be unrealistic to expect to see five million sapient non-humans living in the Republic within the next ten years or so.

While the Phocidaean Census Bureau does not report any citizens fulfilling such criteria [Phocidaea being in the mostly-real world], the Phocidaean Science and Language Administrations wish to note the following errors observed above:

• The frequent misuse of "anthropomorphic" as including non-humanoid species on the basis of their intelligence, when "anthropomorphic" is, by definition, in reference to physical form;
• The similar misinterpretation of the term as disincluding humans and those species with a high degree of human likeness, or as only referring to humanoids with animal characteristics;
• The abbreviation of "anthro", which is not a proper word in any language but most nearly reflects, ironically, the Greek for "human" or "person".
