Desired Location: In terms of preferred location, I don't have the necessary knowledge of the temperatures/climates of Atlas, and as such I'll leave that decision to the Administrators of the region to decide based on this; Preferably, a harsh, cold climate, akin to the real-world Nordic nations / Siberia / Northern Canada. Also, if possible, a large region, to better convey that it's a nation that's sparsely populated, but rich in terms of natural resources.

1.) 103 would work marvellously.
2.) My previous roleplaying experiences are actually predominantly MT, followed closely by PT. Syberea started out in A Modern World, where it was a North Korea-esque nation occupying the region of RL Siberia & Mongolia, although I've roleplayed with it in PT terms aswell to help give myself a better picture of the history of the nation as a whole. Let's say it's safe to say that I'm perfectly capable of roleplaying in a MT setting, with Syberea's past roleplay experiences reflecting a bit of what might have happened on the 103 island, pre-Syberea's establishment as a nation.
(TL;DR - I'm sure I can hold my ground in a MT setting- Although bear in mind that due to the nature of my planned nation's history and background/culture, the technology that I'm likely to use will be based on 1980s Soviet tech and my adaptation thereof, so it's possible that it'll fit in MT, but be slightly backwards in terms of technological prowess.)

Adding to that, a question;
Is it allowed to create fictional improvements on technology that can be considered realistic, but aren't actually available in the real world? For example, a fictionalized but realistic adaptation of Object 187, instead of the real-world Object 188 (T-90)?
