Muguli, Mbuti Earlier today, Marshall Ubaba announced at a press meeting that something is going to be done to decrease the current influence of warlords in Mbuti. The warlord currently posing the largest threat towards the country is only a few miles away from the capital, Muguli. He recently established a fighting force ready to challenge the might of the Mbutin Army. Satellite imagery suggests that he is based somewhere in the Karongo region, and he may already be able to strike. The government urges everyone inhabiting the outskirts of Muguli to avoid going outside for the following days as the government currently is preparing the outskirts for a possible attack from the warlord and the government doesn't wan't to reveal what kind of units they will be stationing. According to eyewitnesses, tanks have been seen, possibly of the T-55 type. The government won't claim responsibility for any kind of ear injuries the following days.
It is believed that the forces loyal to the warlord are a mix between mercenaries and anti-government militias. There are speculations circulating the ethnic makeup of these forces. Government officials states that the militias are made up of Tutsi cockroaches seeking revenge. And the name of the warlord in charge is still unknown, and the only thing the Government calls the warlord is 'a traitor and an enemy of the state'. His identity is yet to be uncovered. The screech which the rocket generated when it left the barrel was deafening, yet it was quickly followed by several more as Major Gahiji fired the Type 63 Multiple Rocket Launch System towards the advancing forces of 'the traitor and enemy of the state'. His unit was not the only one firing at the hostile forces. They were accompanioned by several other units. Among those where the armored forces of Colonel Dukuzumuremyi, the highest climbing Colonel within the Army. Gahiji was tremendously envious over him, but he also respected the man for his experience in combat. He had a good point of view from his post on the hill. He could see the militiamen swarming the rain forest, gun shots echoing over the valley but these were only sporadic and fired from the rifles of the militiamen, the Mbutin relied on their armor, although the infantry was nearby, ready to engage hostile coming to close.
A flash of light was sent across the field and it seemed to miss one of the Mbutin tanks only by a meter. The flash bore down itself in the ground. Now the only fear the Army had was confirmed. The warlord had gotten his hands on AT rockets. Gahiji could not ensure that the flash that missed was fired from an RPG-7, but he had his theories. Lots of corpses lay on the ground, lifeless. Some of them missed heads. Gahiji had been teached, even as a kid, that the Tutsis where enemies of the state. He had no doubts that some of the militiamen where of Tutsi origin. The DShK heavy machine-guns on the T-55s started blazing, everyone nearly at the same time. Even though Gahiji had an amazing point of view he couldn't tell what was happening now. Another flash of light flew across the field and hit one of the T-55s and sent the machine gunner on the turret to the air, in pieces and the turret launched into the air, followed by a thunder bigger than what any storm could bring.
Another flash flew across the field, but it hit a lonesome house in the background. The gunfire decreased over time and every Mbutin soldier started cheering. Gahiji could not tell what was going on, but then he realised, they had won...
The news post is a good addition, while you dont have a tonne of experience, you show potential and will only be a small Alfashiri country, there is always room to learn after all

Please give a brief description of your climate and geography: Novibirsk is a cold and bitter place to be. Being a nation born from the remnants of its predecessor, the Socialist Republic of Novibirsk (SRN), the environment is not something people cherish and is not something people go to see. The weather is almost constantly cold and it is common to go below freezing. Novibirsk is, although very cold, also very lush with forests, about 47% of the nation being filled with trees, those mostly being pines, firs, and evergreens. The rest of the nation is very hilly.
Please give a brief description of your national ethnicities and culture: The people of Novibirsk are known to be quite hostile towards foreigners. Novibirsk's history is filled with being invaded by foreign nations, thus a generational dislike for tourists has risen. Of course, when tourists do find a way into the country, Novibirsk is rich with unique culture. Orthodox Christianity has bred many fine architects, who have created beautiful buildings of regal stature. The former communist dictatorship also has left remnants of their culture in Novibirsk, these being statues, monuments, and the dry carcasses of military vehicles.
Please give a brief description of your national history: Novibirsk has been a multitude of identities. Its first, however, was a republic run by businesses, officially named the Republic of Novibirsk. Its government functioned much like the Republic of Florence did. The upper house of the republic was the Kabinet Gil'diy (Cabinet of Guilds), which comprised of 12 corporations, all with different functions. These ranged from bankers to bakers and carpenters to weaponsmiths. The lower house was a united assembly of the people, who were elected by their peers to represent their municipality. This republic lasted 112 years before it was toppled by a military dictatorship, which, although disbanding the United Assembly of the People, kept the Cabinet of Guilds. This dictatorship was founded by Grigoriy Rachmiknyoff. The dictatorship lasted 252 years, with all of its despots being Rachmiknyoffs', who were also the Grand Generals' of the Army.
The dictatorship finally fell when the last Rachmiknyoff, Igor Rachmikynoff, killed his mother, father (who at the time was Despot), two brothers, sister, and grandfather, thus making him the only surviving Rachmiknyoff. He held discontent with the despotist nation, and when he crowned himself despot, replaced it with the Socialist Republic of Novibirsk. This republic was run by Igor, who's title was Chief General Secretariat, as the legislative house was the General Assembly, literally an assembly of generals. During Igor's rule, he focused a great amount of money on propaganda, and after 30 years of his rule, he had effectively put the people of Novibirsk in a trance-like patriotism, one so effective that there was very little resistance. Except from the Generals of the Assembly. Igor was murdered by the General of the Army, Vsevolod Danilovich. This triggered a civil war that would rage for forty years. This civil war was a civil war based upon who would claim the title Chief General Secretariat. Igor had a son, Stanislav Rachmikynoff, who claimed the descendant of the Chief General Secretariat deserved the title. Vsevolod claimed that the Grand General of the Army deserved it. The General Assembly was split between two claims and the title was never truly claimed by either. This happening, the military also split. The civil war began with the Skirmish of Petravik, a battle between the 7th Regiment and the 32nd Regiment. The 7th Regiment was under the 1st Army, which was controlled by Vsevolod. The 7th Regiment was there to arrest members of the 32nd Regiment and it ended in a stalemate due to huge casualties on both sides. The civil was officially on and Vsevolod founded the United General Republic of Novibirsk (UGRN). Stanislav retained the Socialist Republic of Novibirsk (SRN). The civil war was, of course, the bloodiest and longest war Novibirsk had experienced. The civil war had a crippling effect on the economy and the people. The people, all of whom were for the state, had to choose to be part of which state, and were thus having their own civil war as the military had its own.
The civil war ended on November 1. The casualties were an estimated 41 million civilians and 12 million soldiers. Unfortunately, neither side won, as the end of the civil war was an agreement for the two nations to split into separate nations. Neither lasted a year of peace. Stanislav was assassinated by a UGRN soldier, thus triggering another war. Neither nation had time to build back its economy (as both had almost no money after the civil war). This war destroyed both nations, with both of their armies, both of which were under 60,000 soldiers, being destroyed.
Risen from their ashes was the Federation of Novibirsk. The federation was founded in the capital, Novibirska. The President, Radomir Rutski, called himself the "Last Hope of Novibirsk". The people of Novibirsk were in a state of, quite literally, nationwide PTSD and depression, as the civil war and the second civil war crippled their brainwash-triggered patriotism. Rutski somehow healed the nation of its mental wound with his soft but firm voice and his promises of a reformed and much nicer government. His presidency, which lasted 12 years, led to a somewhat rise in the economy and the steady of the people. Rutski's leadership unified the people once more. Not in a brainwashed manner, but a manner in which the people found a need to unify to survive. Rutski was succeeded by two more presidents, and now the Federation is ruled by its 4th President, Sergei Putinov.Government & Economy

How would you describe the political climate in your nation?: The Federation's constitution bans parties, as the first President of the Federation, Radomir Rutski, feared that parties were going to divide the nation, which was something he vehemently opposed to doing when he wrote the constitution. The Federal Diet is comprised of non-denominational politicians who campaign on their own base against other politicians of their own base during elections.

Please describe your moderation history: I was at first a war moderator on my forum, working on wars and conflicts only. I was this for about a month until one of the roleplay moderators was too inactive to be a moderator and was stripped of his position. I was promoted to roleplay moderator. I still am one. I have to moderate everything that involves roleplay. Meaning anything about factbooks, diplomacy, war, and economics.

The Military Numbers, like Valdiu said, are too high, My country has 15x the population of you, yet your active forces are actually higher than my active forces
If you cut back on the military, your RPs are okay albeit somewhat limited
You wont be able to uphold a military like that with that population without being a North Korea tier dictatorship
