Please give a brief description of your national history: Starting as a small federation of 15 city states which, through conquest and alliances, secured tracts of land. However, in 1589, civil war broke out between two opposing city states over which should provide the new king following the death of the last one, who was childless. The two cities were Leel, providing the contender of Lord Peder Derander, and the city of Tremmyn, who provided City Prince Uther Rowe. The war was eventually won by Peder after five years of fighting, and left a mark on the country. The Rights of the Cities were removed, which meant the founding cities were no longer able to govern themselves and instead adhered to the rule of Leel, which set up the Parliament. Only Leel could act independently, even then under heavy restrictions. This led to a consolidation of power behind the Crown and the newly established Parliament, which prevented any rebellions breaking out until the Fascist Rebellion in 1928.

In an attempt to extend its power, the Kingdom set up colonies around the world, some more successful than others. The attempt to increase its imperial rule put it at odds with several nations throughout the years, however no serious threat arose until GW1, when the Kingdom was humiliated and dove head first into economic depression, with civil strife and small scale fighting erupting in the streets of major cities. Demands for more politically extreme factions rose, with the Communist Revolution Party and the April 23rd Fascist Party rose to prominence, albeit on the small scale. Over time, however, as the econoimic depression and hardships began to rise, people began to look towards these parties as a path out of it. Because of the rise of popularity for both parties, the Parliament became filled with brawls between the two, however the CRP was able to seize power through political manoeuvring and banned the fascist party. In an attempt to prove the peoples devotion to the fascist party, they began marching from the northern coastal city of Jarrow towards the capital of Leel, increasing in size the further into the country and receiving support from the populace and forced the Communist Party out of office, which sparked a civil war. The war was ultimately won by the Fascists, however the country was in ruins. which initially sparked doubts at the effectiveness of the Fascists, however these doubts were quickly extinguished when the country was radically reformed and rebuilt, at the cost of personal liberties. During GW2, the Kingdom sided with the other fascist powers and was invaded during the war, however the fields were flooded and the Newrian forces managed to temporarily devolve the war into slow, muddy and bloody warfare, which allowed them to build a defensive line. It took a further 6 months for the line to be breached, which led to Newrian surrender 2 months later. Much of the later half of the century was spent on rebuilding the country and apologising for the crimes the country committed.

The area in which Shonburg now resides was first controlled by various Germanic and Frankish tribes. It was first nominally conquered and brought under a centralized power by the Roman Empire. After Rome's collapse, it was occupied by Charlemagne, whose rule brought Christianity and stability. After his death, the Count of Shonburg reacted quickly and managed to seize most of what is now the modern Queendom. In the modern era, Shonburg industrialized quickly, and soon had several economic booms by supplying multiple parties in various wars, all while remaining neutral.

A howling gust of cold escapes the ruins as the prisoner's footsteps grow near... The guards suffocate on their own breath, staring into the blackness as they begin to realize their fate. Deep, hungry eyes glare from the shadows, piercing their free will as they remain frozen in fear. A soft humming is heard, accompanied by the eerie sound of lengthy nails raking along the cave's walls. With eyes clenched shut, they pray to their gods in hope they will be protected.... The time has come, the footsteps landing before them. The younger of the guardsmen gasps, allowing his curiousity to become his better. The light burns as his eyes open to focus in on the failed gate where the footsteps ceased their sound. He sees... nothing.
No sooner than the young man can begin to breathe in excitement, the wails fill his ears. A spout of blood flies across his face as he turns to find one of his brothers lying there, mouth agape with a perfect thin slash across his bare throat. On 2 July, Alevstan made this statement: "He abused his power as EP to act on a grudge and intentionally fucced up the region. And that drove off a region member, even if they may return eventually. Popular opinion will decide whether he's permanently banned or not."

The first half of the first sentence is technically correct, but doesn't portray the whole story. The second half is fundementally untrue, and people don't understand why the second sentence is fundementally helpful towards the people of Atlas.

In April, I was elected on the platform of "Roski will cut down regional GDPs like german machine guns cut down russians in 1941". I must say that this was the reason I was elected, because in terms of a popularity contest, my opponent was much more liked than me, and much more popular. Upon day one of my presidency, I immediately set off on this, by setting four different patterns based on GDPs that I had, with the last option being the most severe and the first being the least. Three members made it clear they were much unhappy with the incident, and after warning about what the subversion cost, the focused on the most severe of the punishments which would happen after one entire term of non-compliance. This turned popular opinion away from the incident, and the three were happy again. One of these members, however, like myself and the nation of Stasnov, was the target of this nerf, as could be found by the way the patterns worked.

This nation has been obstructive against regional GDP nerfs since at least the year prior, maybe even before that. Towards the end of 2014, Roski and Stasnov agreed to nerf their GDPs by 20%, as long as this other member did as well. We nerfed, as a sign of good faith, but this other nation never did. Then, the triple power system of the region was permanetly killed, as neither myself or stasnov were willing to rebuff. This other nation was now the sole superpower, despite what the literal canonical policy of the region was. This nation's friends accepted this, not realizing that the ideas were dead. Or maybe they did. Who knows, and at this point, who cares?

In every fight to lower the GDPs, this nation fought tooth and nail against it. At one point, this nation was spending 960 billion dollars on defence, which meant his defence spending alone was higher than the 16th most powerful economic system on earth. In contrast, the United State's is higher than the 21st most powerful economic system. Coupled with a 19 trillion dollar GDP, it became very clear to me that this economic system must disappear by either nerfs or removal entirely.

This was the entire point of the grudge - this singular nation was able to hold back the entire region away from realism because it alone wanted to keep numberwanking. It used exactly 5% of its GDP on defence - which was supposedly not draining his economy. This nation had an alliance which was physically small in terms of nationstates, but was singlehandedly more than half the entire power (as opposed to the United States, which is less than half of NATO), and also had absolutely no reason to be that powerful. That's right - his economy supposedly eclipsed the others in the 1990's, but was then over 5 trillion higher than the next highest.

Continuing on - after failing to see the nerf system work, I decided that the removal of the two highest economys and the absolute destruction of the canon was necessary to the region. It would be the only thing that would save the region from the spiraling nonsense it was heading into, and be the most effective saviour recharge of the region. So this nation was ejected and banned, and I ejected and banned myself. With that, 33 trillion dollars of economic power disappeared, and now, two and a half months later, I see I was right.

The economics of the region have been severely nerfed. A nation coming in and claiming it had a 19 trillion dollar economy would be laughed out of the region. Hell, even Stasnov's old economy, 11 trillion, would be laughed out of the region. It is not my fault this nation left nationstates - it left the region and was then provided the opportunity to nerf. It was then banned permanently from RMB posting. Blaming this on me is a fallacy - this nation would still be around to live if all it did was nerf.

Atlas needs to rebuild with a stable community. And the people have decidef that a stable community is to be without you - 22 against 10.
